Hunting down the Egg in Chapter 3 in Deltarune is one of the most challenging sections of the game. Steps to Get the Egg in DeltaRune Chapter 3
The list features multiple steps, and each should be followed to continue with the other, you can’t skip any of the steps or you will end up with an item bag with no egg in it. Here are the steps:

How To Complete the First Water Puzzle In Deltarune Chapter 3
Make your way to the TV World. You will find the TV World Entrance from the Greenroom.
- Proceed to your right, on the next stage, make your way to the northeast corner of the room. Walk up to get to the game room here, and interact with the controller to let you play as Lancer.
- Now make your way down to the previous room, this time head to the southeast corner of the room, exactly opposite of your current location (northeast section). Walk down to get to the next room.
- This room will be filled with monitors, almost every corner of the room. Make your way to the southwest corner of the room. Walk to your left to enter the puzzle section. Here, switch to Lancer and throw the box or block over the water to the right to complete the puzzle.
That’s it, now make your way to the Greenroom by retracing the steps.
How To Complete the Second Water Puzzle In Deltarune Chapter 3
- Head south of Greenroom, and you will arrive in the bridge area. Start walking down and turn right, you will be in an area with lamp creatures, don’t mind them, just take the path below to enter the next area.
- It’s not a dead end. If you look at the wall in the middle, you will see a spotlight pointing at it. Get yourself in front of the spotlight on the wall. A guard will then appear, asking you questions:
- “You’s a cheater, ain’t ya.”, reply him with “cheater”.
- “Where you headed?”, reply with “Nowhere”.
- You will be teleported to a different room with a brand new puzzle. It’s simple, just push the box onto the block right next to the water.
This will create a bridge over the water for you to get across. Here, press the pink button at the corner to reveal the way to your right.
How To Get the TripTicket Item
In the next room, you will be facing a giant screen, and on the screen, you will see a small miniature version of you with a blue hooded old man.
- Interact with the giant screen via the controller on the front and speak to the old man inside the screen with your on-screen character. You must repeat the conversation with the old man as many times as possible.
- Eventually, you will get the phrase “Why don’t you head over to the right…mumble…”. So head to the right, which will be the kitchen, and then go back to the living room. You will spot a wardrobe next to the cushion chair.
- Interact with the wardrobe, and you will find nothing inside, then head over to the old man and start talking to him. He will tell you the item you are looking for is inside your pocket all this time.
Now, get off the controller to stop interacting with the giant screen, look into your Item, and you will find TripTicket under the Key section. Now make your way to the left and talk to the guard at the end. He will teleport you back to the spotlight room. Just get to the Green room once again.
How To Find the Hidden Frog and Escape In Deltarune Chapter 3
Head to the northwest corner of the Greenroom, interact with the door, and travel to Goulden Sam.
- Once you are in Goulden Sam, head to the right and then enter the door right next to the word Stealth Zone on the wall. The room will be filled with trash cans, you have to knock on the proper one to spawn a frog.
- It’s the fifth trash can from the left. Knock over the can to spawn a Frog out of it. This puts you in the battle against the Frog; instead of opting for Attack, choose Act. Now, pick the option that states Croakonx, and hold the left directional key.
This will make your heart icon next to the CroakOnx start walking to the left. By choosing to get out by holding on the Left, it will end the battle with the title “Escaped…”.
All Answers For Riddles To Receive the Egg In Deltarune Chapter 3
When the battle ends, you will end up in a new area, just head upwards and go through the door. You will find yourself in a room with a giant tree in the middle. Interact with the tree to answer its questions:
- …I’m a forgotten man, will you forget me, too? – Choose Answer No.
- …I ask again. Will you forget me? – Choose Answer No.
- …The whole world looked like, do you think so? – Choose Answer Yes.
- …Do you understand what I’m saying? – Choose Answer Yes.
- …Did you want to meet again? – Choose Answer Yes.
- …Did you remember to write that down? – Choose Answer Yes.
That’s it, by answering the last question, Kris will receive the Egg from the tree. If you check your Item, you will find an Egg in your inventory.
