I’ve done my fair share of death-defying feats in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, but unlocking the Isu Door was one of my finest moments, courtesy of the new 1.1.6 Assassin’s Creed: Shadows update.
Just when I thought the quest to uncover all the hidden treasures was over, a single clue and a part of a Blade of Yumminess set me on a new path of discovery and adventure. One I walked straight and true.
At this point, I have more weapons than any non-video game character with an unlimited inventory could ever hope to carry. However, you can never have too many stabby pieces of gear, if you ask me.
If you are willing to dive in and work on obtaining this legendary long katana, too, I’ve uncovered all the blade part locations for the Blade of Yumminess below.
How to Get the Blade of Yumminess in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
There are four parts to the Blade of Yumminess that you need to find to make it complete. You would have obtained a clue about the blade after unlocking the Isu Door and revealing all the treasures within.
Along with the clue, you will also receive the first part of the blade, the Blade of Yumminess Scabbard, within the cave itself. Now, all you need to do is collect the remaining three parts, which are detailed below.
Blade of Yumminess Guard Location
For the guard, head over to Sazae Oni Shores, all the way in the southern region of Kii. Up the hill is the Myoken Shrine waypoint.
You need to head to the back of the shrine and slowly make your way down. At the edge of the platform is a chest that holds the guard part and another clue.
Blade of Yumminess Blade Location
In Tamba, make your way towards the top of Mount Akaiwa, near Onitake Shrine.
Go down the stairs of the mountain till you reach a broken wooden bridge. Jump down the cliff beside it to find a chest with the blade and the next clue.
Blade of Yumminess Handle Location
In Wakasa, you need to travel to the Onyu Pass Overlook. Dive into the pool below the viewpoint and swim downwards.
The treasure chest containing the handle is found right at the bottom of the pool, and you will also get the Saya of Yumminess clue.
Crafting the Blade of Yumminess
With all four parts in hand, equip the Riddle Scroll Beacon and make your way to the Isu Door. Right after you enter the cave, to your right, you will spot a workbench. Interact with it to get the option to Reforge the Blade.
Once done, you are now the proud owner of the Blade of Yumminess, a legendary long katana, which offers the following stats.
- Weapon DPS: 2643
- Posture DPS: 10573
- Ability Damage: 11534
- Adrenaline Gain: +27.7%
- Perk: +250% damage, but can’t use Abilities.
