Deviants make up a large chunk of the gameplay in Once Human and are an important feature of the game. With their help, you can boost your attack and defense of your character and your base. They also help in collecting resources and taking care of your base when you are away. Starry Studios introduced Shiny Deviants in Season 2; which are essentially rarer versions of regular Deviants, and super hard to find. In this guide, we have put up all ways to get Shiny Deviants in Once Human.
What Are Shiny Deviants In Once Human?
Shiny Deviants are just variations of certain Deviants that already exist in the game. There are 7 different Shiny Deviants to find, and you can get them in varying colors and sizes. You can even find different versions of one Deviant, so you might have to repeat certain quests and playthroughs several times before you can get them.
Shiny Deviants also offer different boosts and abilities as compared to their regular counterparts. Different forms of Shiny versions of one Deviant will give different abilities. To increase your chances of getting Shiny Deviants, increase your game difficulty and defeat bosses at higher difficulties. It might be challenging but you have an increased chance of getting a Shiny drop.
All Shiny Deviant Locations In Once Human
Shiny Deviants will appear the same way as regular Deviants. You need to kill the respective bosses or explore certain locations to find them. Most of the time you might end up getting regular Deviants instead of the Shiny versions, so you need to wait for a respawn and try farming the location again. Are Shiny Deviants Worth It in Once Human?
At the current RNG, it will take a lot of farming for you to get your hands on a Shiny Deviant – time that can be better spent farming loot crates, collecting all deviants already available in the game, and completing events and side quests. Only if you think you have done all this, should you, in our opinion, set your sights on the Shiny Deviants in Once Human.
