The more you explore the world of Enshrouded, the more you get to learn about the lore of the game. This game is a unique take on open world adventure with a bit of crafting involved. Survival is your main goal here, and to help with that you can craft better gear and armor by finding the right materials. As you progress, you will start noting rare materials as a requirement for higher tier weapons and armor. One such rare and key material is the Fossilized Bone. In this guide we have covered everything there is to know about Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded, including where to get it and its uses.

    Fossilized Bone Locations In Enshrouded

The desert region of Enshrouded, mainly around the Kindlewastes and Nomad Highlands are the best places to search for and find Fossilized Bone. Collecting Fossilized Bone requires a very specific route to take. Unlike other resources in Enshrouded, Fossilized Bone doesn’t have a questline that you can follow to get this item. Once you reach these locations, look around for giant fossilized skeletons and start collecting Fossilized Bone.

If you have the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire unlocked, just glide down from the fast travel point and head west to find the giant skeleton structure.

Besides this, there is another location near Pillars of Creation where you can farm Fossilized Bone, just west of Umber Hollow. To reach the Pillars of Creation, head over to Low Meadows Ancient Spire just east of Cinder Vault, then scale the mountain just north of Low Meadows. From the Pillars of Creation gate, travel east and you will find the large bone structure in the middle of the desert

Fossilized Bone in Enshrouded is a minable resource, so you can equip your pickaxe to farm this material off the giant fossilized skeleton. Any pickaxe works for this task, but the higher tiered pickaxes like the Iron Pickaxe can mine this resource more efficiently. Once you have a pickaxe, just stand close to the skeleton and press the action button to start the mining process.

How To Use Fossilized Bone In Enshrouded

Fossilized Bone is an essential component of crafting high end armor, Eternal Spell charges; as well as growing high tier crops. You can take the Fossilized Bone to the Grinder and turn it into Fossilized Bone Dust. You can unlock the Grinder after saving the Alchemist during the Alchemist questline. You also require the recipe for Fossilized Bone Dust, which you can buy from the Farmer. Once you have Fossilized Bone Dust, you can use it to grow high tier crops at your Seedbed. Below are the crops that will require Fossilized Bone Dust

You can also trade Fossilized Bone Dust with the Farmer to get Fertilised Farm Soil, which is used in growing high level crops like Saffron. Fossilized Bone Dust and Fossilized Bone can be given to the Alchemist as well. In return, you can craft Eternal Spell Charges like Eternal Ice Bolt and Eternal Chain Heal. Fossilized Bone Dust is also required to strengthen your Flame and upgrade the Flame Altar. If you have 20x Fossilized Bone Dust, you can upgrade your Flame to level 5.
