Terraria, the action adventure game from Re-Logic is enjoying a good run since its launch on consoles; after the PC launch all those years back. The pixelated game design along with well-designed combat and exploration mechanics have kept players returning back to the game. The game also has a robust crafting and survival gameplay loop; and one such item that players are likely to hunt for, but often not get easily are Black Lens. If you are one of those, you have come to the right place – In this guide we give all the details on how to get Black Lens in Terraria.

How To Obtain Black Lens In Terraria

Black Lens in Terraria can only be obtained from farming Demon Eye or Wandering Eye, each of which have a 1% drop rate. Black Lens cannot be crafted, so even though these are pretty low drop rates, farming them during night-time is the only way to get your hands on Black Lens which can then be used to craft Sunglasses. You will have to be near the Crafting Chair to have Sunglasses appear as a crafting option, so keep that in mind.

In case you are at the wrong time of the day, the Demon Eye and Wandering Eye will not appear, so ensure that you have changed the time to dusk / night before you begin farming. The rates are low, but atleast you can do the farming with the assurance that they will drop Black Lens after these many tries!
