Black Lens in Terraria can only be obtained from farming Demon Eye or Wandering Eye, each of which have a 1% drop rate. Black Lens cannot be crafted, so even though these are pretty low drop rates, farming them during night-time is the only way to get your hands on Black Lens which can then be used to craft Sunglasses. You will have to be near the Crafting Chair to have Sunglasses appear as a crafting option, so keep that in mind.
In case you are at the wrong time of the day, the Demon Eye and Wandering Eye will not appear, so ensure that you have changed the time to dusk / night before you begin farming.
