Black Myth Wukong has its fair share of collectibles and items to be looted from exploring the dangerous open world. However, almost all the time these collectibles lead to something more interesting – either a secret area, an intense boss fight, and very often some rewarding loot. One such item that you may come across when exploring Chapter 4 is a Purple Talisman. There are 4 of them, and collecting all of these gets you a boss fight, a great loot item, and a trophy/achievement unlock. In this guide, we have put up all the details on how to collect all Purple Talismans in Black Myth Wukong, and the rewards for doing so.
Purple Talisman #1: The Verdure Bridge
Start from The Verdure Bridge and on the path straight ahead taking a right from the cocoon that just about bursts as you pass it. Keep right and then jump down to the bottom. Take the stairs on your left and continue on the path that winds to the right, up the stairs. The path will widen into an open area with a shrine straight ahead having the first Purple Talisman for you to collect.
Purple Talisman #2: Cliff Of Oblivion
The second Purple Talisman in Black Myth Wukong is located conveniently on the right of the Cliff Of Oblivion at a short distance from the shrine.
Purple Talisman #3: Cliff Of Oblivion
This is a long one, but if you have explored the area it should not be much of a problem. Start from the Cliff of Oblivion and take a left this time, through the lit corridor, crossing the bridge left behind by fighting Buddha’s Right Hand, through the two narrow bridges – the second one being the narrower one and having spider cocoons hanging. This will have you open up into a green forest area. Keep left taking the stairs and the path ahead, till you reach the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine.
From here, take the left path till you come across pillars and a lit path that takes you uphill and you will eventually come to the shrine in between two torches to collect the third Purple Talisman.
Purple Talisman #4: Court Of Illumination
Start from the Court of Illumination and take the stairs to arrive at an open courtyard, and you will see the last Purple Talisman on the altar straight ahead. Take it off to trigger a cutscene and a boss battle.
What Happens When You Collect All Purple Talismans In Black Myth Wukong?
When you collect all 4 Purple Talismans in Chapter 4; you will unlock a boss fight with the Supreme Inspector. However, the twist is that you don’t battle him to the end of his health bar, after you take off around a quarter or so of his health, another cutscene will trigger – the Supreme Inspector will be instructed not to fight you; and you are now free to go ahead and collect your reward – a Celestial Nonary Pill that massively increases Stamina and a trophy – Misfit With Merit.
However, keep in mind that all these steps need to be completed before you fight the final boss of Chapter 4.
