You can expect tons of exploration areas while playing Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. That way, you get to meet new NPCs who require your help in some way or the other. In Act 1, you will be tasked with locating and repairing an Ancient Gong to help with a certain ritual. The broken gong itself is missing, so it is up to you to locate it and find the right materials to repair it. This guide will cover how to fix the Ancient Gong in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon.
Fixing the Gong in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon
You get an objective to repair the gong after completing the Shadows of the Horns quest. Regardless of who you choose at the end of the quest, you will be sent to perform the Ritual of the Keeper, which requires a gong. Unfortunately, the gong is broken and missing, and you need to search around the Sunken Village to find it. After that, bring it back to the blacksmith, Osbryht, for repairs. You can find Osbryht around the castle’s exterior.

Luckily, the missing gong isn’t too hard to find. You can talk to the blacksmith to get more info on the gong, or you can teleport to the Sunken Village directly. If you did talk to the blacksmith to ask for his help in fixing the gong, then he will also tell you that he will require 15 x Ethereal Cobwebs for the repairs. Once you are at the marked location above, cross the broken bridge, get into the water, and swim towards the island ahead.
Performing the Ritual of the Keepers

You will find an NPC on the island here to talk to, but you can ignore him and make your way to the quest marker to pick up the broken gong. The gong is right underneath the archway. Next, find and defeat 15 Wyrd monsters to collect the cobwebs, but you need to wait till nighttime for them to appear. You can build a campsite on Sunken Village itself to pass the time, as Wyrds do appear here as well.
After collecting all the necessary items, head back to the blacksmith and hand them over to start the repairs. Once you have your repaired gong, head back to the island in Sunken Village and fix the gong to the archway. After that, a short cutscene will play out, and you will be promptly transported to the ritual site. Make your way across the floating platforms till you reach the end, and you can watch the rest of the scene unfold.
