Fighting monsters is one of the core mechanics of FLi, and there are unique monster types called Legendaries to find. Finding and defeating these monsters will unlock legendary materials, and this guide will explain how to find legendary monster material in Fantasy Life i.
All 5 Legendary Monster Material Locations in Fantasy Life i
You can alter the way legendary monsters spawn in Ginormosia by following a unique technique. For each region available, you can change the rank of it to have it spawn monsters of different levels. This will also reset the spawn rates of the monsters within that region. While checking the map, keep an eye out for blue exclamation marks, which indicate that a legendary monster can spawn here. If you don’t spot such markings, then change the rank again till you do, or sleep at your camp to reset the day.
Single players can unlock these unique spawn points after upgrading the selected region to rank 3. After which, you can downgrade it to start seeing legendary spawns. When you interact with these legendary spots, you will get a challenge objective. Completing the challenge just requires that the region’s rank be above level 3, and you have the skills to defeat them. Below is where you can locate most legendary monsters and the materials you can get.
Legendary Shiny Geode Location
Head over to East Dryridge Desert to the marked location above. You have to climb up a rocky hill to find the monster at the very top. This is a level 70 Legendary Shiny Geode monster, and defeating it will give you the Shiny Geode material.
Legendary Don Woolie Location
Legendary Don Woolies usually spawn around Drakeseye Valley, from the tower you have to head north to find its spawn point. If you don’t find the monster spawning in, you have to check whether Crickneck Canyon is at level 3. Defeating the level 50 Don Woolie will give you Legendary Don Horn and Legendary Don Meat as your reward.
Legendary Rocket Fish Location
For this one, you have to go all the way to Fangshore Isles, and the closest teleportation point here is Tortortoise Town. While the Rocket Fish is a level 50 enemy, it is still quite challenging to defeat it, so bring plenty of consumables before you head over here.
Legendary God Tree Location
The God Tree can be found in Shroomhaven, but it can also spawn in other forested areas in Ginormosia. This is a level 60 monster, so be prepared for some hard attacks coming your way. Defeating this enemy will drop the Legendary Divine Log, which is a requirement to craft the Excalibranch.
Legendary King Spud Location
The Legendary King Spud can spawn around Viridia Plateau or in the Western or Eastern Greatgut Plains. If you explore any lowland grassy areas, you might get a chance encounter with the King Spud. This is one of the rarer monsters to find, so you might have to refresh your region a couple of times before it spawns. The King Spud drop can be used as a cooking ingredient.
