How To Find Candlemass The Living Rite in Path of Exile 2
You will need to reach Ogham Manor during Act 1 of Path of Exile 2 to find Candlemass, The Living Rite. He can be found in one of the rooms before the area that leads to the final boss fight of Act 1 against Geonor. Do not go into the void going down as that will lead into the final boss fight, search all the rooms before the area where you can drop down.
Strategy To Defeat Candlemass The Living Rite in Path of Exile 2
As you may have already guessed, Candlemass uses fire attacks to deal damage which can be devastating when you get caught in the wrong position. So first, make sure you get the checkpoint for this mini-boss fight at the bottom left side of the arena. This will make it easier for you to get back into the fight in case you end up perishing. Now let’s get into how you can defeat Candlemass The Living Rite easily in Path of Exile 2.
- Most if not all of his attacks shoot out straight and are easily predictable by its animations. Dodging to the sides will be the most effective way to avoid damage from Candlemass. However, some of the attacks may still hit you if you are far away which also means it’s advantageous to be at a close distance to the boss.
- When you’re dodging side to side, be careful of his sword attack which creates a wide arc of flame in front of him. This one is better dodged by creating distance and avoiding the wide arc of the sword since you will likely get hit on the sides.
- The most dangerous attack will be when Candlemass takes a knee and spawns a bunch of fire projectiles that shoot out all around him. Avoid this by getting as far as possible when you see him stop and crouch down to initiate this. Getting hit by even one of these fire projectiles can do some severe damage.
- Candlemass is weak to being staggered so the main strategy here is to keep the pressure on him by staying aggressive and taking every opening you get. Once staggered, it will allow you to get some easy hits in before he is back to being conscious
