With six starting classes available to pick your character in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2, you would want to experiment with them and figure out your playstyle. You will also find that you get rewarded with armor pieces and customizations for each mission you complete. Armor Customization in Space Marine 2
To start the customization process, first select which campaign mode you wish to go into. You have a choice between Operations and Eternal War. Next, make your way to the Battle Barge and select the Armouring Hall option. You can now go through the 6 classes in Space Marine 2 and select which class you want to customize. There is an Edit Armor option at the bottom, select it to start the process.
Note: Armor customizations that take place in Operations will not be carried over to Eternal War, and vice versa. The customizations you create for each mode will stay within that mode. You will also get different customization options for each mode, so you cannot match armor this way.
How To Unlock Armor Sets In Space Marine 2
To unlock armor in Space Marine 2; all you have to do is complete missions within the modes available and you will get it as a reward. You can explore all existing armor sets by going through the Customization menu under the Edit Armor option in Operations or Eternal War. You can find slots with different sections of armor sets. If you hover over the armor sets, it will show you the unlock requirements. Fulfilling the unlock requirement will automatically unlock a particular set.
How To Unlock Astartes Chapter Armor In Space Marine 2
Astartes Chapter Armor Sets can be purchased through Requisition; which you gain from completing missions in the Operations mode. The higher your mission difficulty, the more Requisition you can earn. There are four subchapters under the Astartes Heraldry:
- Adeptus Astartes
- Heretic Astartes
- Unknown Foundings
- Ultramarines
Each subchapter offers more armor customization and armor sets, so you can explore the catalog and select the ones you wish to purchase. Consider the Astartes Chapter as an in-game armor customization store, where you need to purchase armor sets using a particular currency.
How To Change Armor Color In Space Marine 2
After selecting the armor set you wish to equip on your character, you will find your current equipped armor under the Custom Armor Set section of the Edit Armor menu. Select the armor set and press the respective button to head into the Edit Heraldry Rules. You will be taken to the Heraldry Editor, where you can change the armor color. You can either choose to chance the armor set color entirely, or select individual pieces of armor and change color instead
Step by Step Guide On Customizing Armor In Space Marine 2
- Pick a campaign mode, either Operations or Eternal War
- Head over to the Armor Sets tab after clicking Edit Armor under the Armouring Hall
- You can either select the existing armor set or click the Custom Armor Set option to select armor pieces
- Choose a set under Heraldry or select a set from the Astartes Chapters tab. You require Requisition to purchase Astartes armor sets.
- Head over to the Custom Armor Set section at the bottom of the armor screen and add custom rules to the Heraldry
- Select whether you wish to change the color of the entire armor set or just parts of the armor
