You need the Brewing Barrel recipe before you can start crafting this item. You can find the Brewing Barrel recipe under the Memetics tree, under the Logistics tab. You have to reach Tier 4 to unlock the memetic for the Brewing Barrel. Now that you have that out of the way, all that is left is to craft it. You require the following materials to craft the Brewing Barrel
- 50 * Log – Gather Logs by walking up to any tree, equipping the ax, and pressing the action button
- 20 * Adhesive – Get it by disassembling items like Water Bottles, Old Clothing, and Alarm Clocks
- 20 * Rubber – Get it by disassembling items like Electric Iron, Leather Shoes, and Footballs
- 20 * Aluminum Ingot – Pass 5 * Aluminum Ores and 1 * Acid through the Electric Furnace
- 15 * Acid
After crafting the Brewing Barrel, place it in your base and connect it to a power source like the Solar Generator. You can wire power to the Brewing Barrel by pressing X while in Building mode.

How To Use Brewing Barrel To Collect Acid
The process of collecting Acid using the Brewing Barrel is a bit different from using it to ferment food. This is done by having Polluted Water pass through the Osmosis Water Purifier and then connecting it to the Brewing Barrel to get Acid.
- Build a Water Pump in a location where you can find polluted water. You can locate polluted water around corruption zones. Your backpack will also start glowing while venturing through these areas, which is a dead giveaway to find contaminated water.
- Connect the Water Pump to the Osmosis Water Purifiers to farm Impure Acid.
- Connect the Water Purifier to the Brewing Barrel via the Raw Materials Input. This will pump in Impure Acid as the raw material. In the Water Input of the Barrel, continue to pump in Purified Water.
- Your end result will be Pure Acid.
You can place several barrels and continue this method to farm Acid in Once Human. Placing many barrels will speed up the process significantly and enhance your production. Acid offers several uses, like crafting gunpowder, storage batteries, tungsten ingots, activators, and adrenaline shots.
