Prospecting’s latest update, the Abyssal Depths update, has added a new area, filled with darkness from one side to the other. Within this area lies a Maze, which offers Blueprints for a brand-new Piece of Equipment, as well as a new Pan and Shovel. One of these Blueprints is the Umbrite Ring, a new Exotic Ring with incredible stats. Before you can enter the Maze, you must collect 25,000 minerals within the Abyss. Once done, here’s how you can craft and find the Blueprint for this item in Prospecting.
Umbrite Ring Crafting Requirements & Location
To craft Umbrite Rings in Propsecting, you need $400,000,000 Cash, the Blueprint, and the following Minerals, which range from Legendaries to Mythic:
- 3x Chrysoberyl
- 3x Painite
- 1x Dinosaur Skull
- 5x Specterite
- 1x Umbrite
Before you can get to crafting this Exotic Ring in Prospecting, you must first find the Blueprint for it. For it, you’ll need to enter the Maze of the Abyssal Depths. Once you enter the Maze, continue forward until the intersection. From there, turn right and go forward to the next intersection. Continue down the path until you reach the area with the grass. Ignore the left path and continue forward to eventually come across a new NPC, known as the Skeleton.
Upon interacting with the Skeleton NPC, you’ll be rewarded with the Umbrite Ring Blueprint. After you have the Blueprint for the Exotic Ring, all you need is the required Cash and Minerals to craft it. Here are the stats for this Exotic Ring in the game:

Umbrite can also be found inside the Abyssal Depths itself, but since it is an Exotic Mineral, the chances of it spawning are lower. For the other Minerals, the chances are incredibly slim as well, so here’s where you need to start looking in Prospecting:

Since the majority of these Minerals will be available inside the Abyssal Depths, you’ll spend some time in the Abyss. Watch out for the purple bar when you’re inside the area, as it can result in instant death if the bar is filled. To avoid such situations, we’d recommend crafting the Firefly Flare using the Firefly Stone from the crafting table near the entrance to stay inside the Abyss for a longer duration and craft more Minerals.
How to Find the Abyssal Pan & Abyssal Shovel
Inside the Maze, you can find the Abyssal Pan and the Abyssal Shovel as well in Prospecting. Here’s what you need to do to find these Mythic items:
- Abyssal Pan: For the Abyssal Pan, enter the Maze to reach the intersection. Go down to the right towards the next intersection. Continue until the grass pathways, then turn left from the obby. Go past it, then turn right onto the path forward. Take another right, then a left, and finally another right turn to come across the Abyssal Pan lying on the ground in the dark.
- Abyssal Shovel: For the Abyssal Shovel, access the Maze and head to the first intersection. Turn left and continue onwards to the next intersection, from which you need to go straight to the path leading to the top. As you continue on the path upwards, you’ll eventually reach a glowing item at a distance. Interact with it to add the Abyssal Shovel to your inventory.
