You’re only given the Crossbow when you start your journey in Once Human. That’s why you have to craft your own weapons to defeat the strong enemies in the game. Moreover, unlike the arrows you use for Crossbow, you can’t reuse bullets. You need to craft them as well.
Crafting Guns in Once Human
You need the Gear Workbench to craft guns in Once Human. Here’s how you can do it:
- Access the Crafting tree of the Memetics menu
- Select the Essential Tools options
- Click on Gear Workbench upgrades
- Upgrade it twice
After the second upgrade, you will be able to get the Gear Workbench.
After crafting the Gear Bench, you can craft any type of gun with the required materials.
Crafting Ammo in Once Human
You will need the Supplies Workbench to craft ammo for your guns in Once Human. Similar to getting the workbench for guns, you will need the Essential Tools upgrade in the Crafting Memetic tree. For gunpowder and copper, you have to buy the Ammunition I upgrade.
Copper ammo is the most basic version of ammo you will get in Once Human. The recipe for copper ammo requires 1 Gunpower and 3 Copper Ingots.
Gunpowder is essential for crafting many types of ammo. You will need 6 Sulfur, 3 Charcoal and 3 Acid to craft Gunpowder.
