Becoming A Mangler In BO6 Zombies
You can become a Mangler by injecting yourself with the Mutant Injection. There are two ways to do that:
- Get the Mutant Injection as a drop from defeating Manglers, completing S.A.M. Challenges, and unlocking the Liberty Falls bank vault. You can get it as a rare drop from defeating higher-level zombies, but that is likely to take a long time farming.
- The second method to obtain the Mutant Injection is to buy it. Once you reach level 39, head over to any nearby Crafting Table and select the Support category. It costs 2,500 Salvage to purchase 1 Mutant Injection.
How To Use The Mangler In Black Ops 6 Zombies
Now that you have your hands on the Mutant Injection, just press 3 (Keyboard)/ Down on the D-Pad (Controller) to use it. The Mutant Injection falls under the Support Scorestreak, so as long as you have one of these items in your inventory, you can use it and become a Mangler. Once you turn into this undead creature, you have a brief moment of invulnerability when transforming. Plus, after transformation, there will be a shockwave blast AoE that will throw away with force any zombie around you.
Best Ways To Use The Mangler In Black Ops 6 Zombies
The best part of the Mangler is using their unique weapon, the Mangler Cannon. This weapon deals AoE damage, which is highly helpful while trying to navigate the hoards of zombies. It is also an ideal weapon while taking out high-level targets, as the damage from the Mangler Cannon is quite powerful once charged up. Besides the cannon, the Mangler also comes equipped with a melee weapon. This is ideal for situations where you find yourself in closed spaces. You can also utilize the Mangler’s speed and high defense to take down harder enemies in the game.
The best time to use the mutant injection and turn yourself into a Mangler is during boss fights. Because the Mangler has such high defense and firepower, you can utilize those to help you pass the boss battles or higher-level enemies in BO6 Zombies. Use the Mangler alongside other Support equipment like the ARC-XD or the Self-Revive to keep going during a fight. Since the Mangler transformation is only temporary, you have to time your fights to efficiently complete them before the transformation ends.
