How Purity Works in He is Coming

He is Coming deals with the main character trying to seek out and destroy the Demon King. But, along the way, you will face several dangers that can prove fatal in the long run. Like most RPG games, there are a few status effects that will be inflicted on you, and one of them is the Purity effect. If you are wondering how to use Purity for your benefit, then this guide will cover it.

    He is Coming: Purity Explained

Purity is one of those status effects that acts as a boon for your character. If your Purity stats are stacked, you get a +1 attack boost per stack and +3 HP regen whenever you remove and consume a stack. While Purity is active, you will receive no debuff or negative effects. There is no time limit for how long Purity stays active, so you can continue the rest of your playthrough while stacking them up.

If you are wondering whether you lose Purity after each turn, the short answer is, no. You can continue to stack Purity per turn if you get the right loot with the right status effects. The only time it is lost is if you or another effect consumes Purity. Stacking Purity is great for builds who don’t use armor or use weakened armor. You can continue to increase your attack stats by stacking Purity, or gain HP when consuming it, which will keep you strong enough to battle anything that comes your way.

    How to Get Purity

Purity is obtained from gear loot drops in particular locations or bundles. Namely, you need to collect loot in Swampland and the Kingmaker Swampland to find the right gear with the Purity status effect. Some gear like the Purelake Chalice and Lakebed Sword are extremely hard to get, so you might have to do repeated runs within these two areas to collect all the loot and stack Purity. While going through the loot pool, there are certain gear that can increase or give Purity if you are inflicted with other status effects like Shock or Wounded, so don’t forget to pick them up too.
