During your runs, you will come across Hermes, who will mention that Olympus is under attack and needs saving. Once this happens, keep speaking to Hecate, Hermes & Moros. Eventually, the Permeation of Witching-Wards will appear as an option for you to cast at the Cauldron.

- 1 Cinder : Dropped everytime you defeat Hecate
- 3 Moly : Found in Erebus region
- 1 Shadow : Requires the Shadow Extraction recipe, and 30 Ash, 30 Psyche and 3 Fated Fabric
How To Survive On The Surface In Hades 2
Melinoe, being part of the Hades bloodline cannot stay too long on the Surface as her health starts depleting – she has the Curse of the Chthonic Fate. For Melinoe to survive on The Surface without the health ticker going down constantly requires another Incantation : Unraveling A Faithful Bond.
Everything About Unraveling A Faithful Bond Incantation
After you have unlocked the path to The Surface, you will notice the health ticker going down constantly, and inevitably you will respawn at The Crossroads. Speak to Moros and he will tell you about getting the Unraveling A Faithful Bond Incantation to help you survive on The Surface without your health depleting constantly.
The Unraveling A Faithful Bond Incantation requires the following ingredients
- 2 Lotus : Found in Oceania region
- 2 Moss : Found on The Surface. 1 Moss should be there in the first room itself on The Surface
- 2 Nightshade : Use the Silver Spade to gather Nightshade seeds from Erebus region and plant it in the garden at The Crossroads
- 2 Thalamus : Use the Silver Spade to gather Origin seeds from Realm of Chaos that spawn randomly during your runs
Once all the ingredients are collected, you can use the Incantation and explore the 2 regions on The Surface – Ephyra and Rifts of Thessaly; which have several high level resources and ingredients to upgrade your Weapon Aspects or get Keepsakes for various characters.
