The recent 5.8 Update for Genshin Impact has a whole new questline to complete, where you get to explore Sunspray Summer Resort and pick up new sub-quests. Each sub-quest has a set number of objectives to complete, and the Curtain Call for a Colorful Summer Night sub-quest has a unique objective. A Curtain Call for a Colorful Summer NightQuest Guide in Genshin Impact
The Curtain Call for a Colorful Summer Night is the fourth sub-quest within the Sunspray Summer Resort questline. As such, you need to complete all the sub-quests in order before you get to unlock this one. Once you do, wait for two in-game days and seek out the following friends.
- Mualani
- Chasca
- Bennett
- Venti
These characters are found in the same locations as when you had completed the previous sub-quest, The Surprise That Awaits Us All. If you are having a hard time, Mualani is located in Easybreeze Market, Chasca at Guiztli Ridge’s Shores, and Bennett and Venti at the Western Coast of Tete Isle. After that, return to the resort at Huha Hill to find all your friends gathered around the plaza area. Mualani will propose to take a photo, but only after their respective cabins have been painted a specific color.
How to Spray Paint According to Your Companion Ideas
Interact with the Indwellable Asha near the staircase to turn into it. You now have free rein to splash colors on the walls of each character’s cabins. If you have picked the right colors, the respective character will leave compliments, and the objective will be ticked out. Below are the colors you need to pick for each cabin.
- The cabin in front of Chasca should be painted red.
- Paimon will be standing to the right of Chasca, painting the lower cabin in front of Paimon yellow.
- Above Paimon’s cabin is Bennett’s; paint this one orange.
- Head over to Venti across the ramp and color his cabin green.
- Finally, head right of Venti’s cabin to find Mualani. Paint her cabin blue.
If you don’t have some of the colors unlocked, you don’t have to worry, as the Asha will automatically produce and apply the color for you. In the case of Venti’s green cabin, there is a certain glitch where the quest will still be marked incomplete even after painting his cabin.
If you haven’t unlocked the green color yet and only depended on the Asha, then the objective might bug out. To fix this, complete the “Koholasaur Dolls” challenge given out by Kanei and unlock the green color, then manually color the cabin again.
Completing the Quest and Rewards
Completing all the objectives for the Curtain Call for a Colorful Summer Night quest in Genshin Impact will trigger a cutscene, where Venti will guide the player to visit Wavey Bay’s meeting point. Once here, head northwest and further west of Giant Koholasaur Slide. Make your way up the cliff here facing north to get to the meeting point. Another cutscene will play out, after which you will receive the following rewards.
