Genshin Impact always brings out new events with each update, and this time around in 5.4 you get the Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter Event. During the event you need to locate the Anecdote Chronicles of all the characters within the game, and that can take you all around Teyvat for that. But some characters will be difficult to find, since they are located deep within certain areas that might be challenging to reach. In this guide we will give you the rundown on where you can locate all Fischl Anecdote Chronicles in Genshin Impact.
Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter Event Guide Genshin Impact
The newest 5.4 event is simple enough to play, as all you need to do is locate various Genshin Impact characters around three main locations and talk to them to get their Anecdote. The event will currently run till March 25th, 2025, and you need to complete the following quests first.
- Archon Quest Chapter 1 Act 3 – A New Star Approaches
- The Crane Returns on the Wind
- Omnipresence Over Mortals
- Xianyun Story Quest Act 1
- Kokomi Story Quest Act 1
After which, the new event will unlock for you and you can explore three main areas to find the characters. The areas you need to explore are:
- Liyue
- Monstadt
- Inazuma
Most of the characters’ locations will be marked on the map, and you can head over to each location to interact with them. But the characters will appear at random, so somedays you might not find the character you are looking for. There is a limit to how many characters you can interact with, and each day you get to speak to 5 characters. You can get a different dialog per character if they change locations or you find them in different locations.
Note: If you find certain characters locked out of the event, you need to progress through the main story quests till you can unlock them in the game to find them during the event. Also, you need to interact with any currently available characters to get a chance to unlock new ones.
All Anecdote Chronicles Locations
So far, there are 19 Anecdote Chronicles to find in the above mentioned locations, and we have marked each character’s location below.
Liyue Harbor
- Xianyun – Xianyun is located near the Ministry of Civil Affairs, where you can find her talking to Shenhe.
- Yaoyao – Make your way to Yujing Terrace and head northwest where Madam Ping would be. She can be found training with a master.
- Shenhe – Head east towards Wanmin Restaurant, where you can spot Shenhe standing in front of the restaurant.
- Xiangling – If you are lucky, you can also spot Xiangling talking to Hu Tao in front of the Wanmin Restaurant.
- Qiqi – Qiqi can also be found in Wanmin Restaurant, this time inside the restaurant near the stove with Gouba.
- Yun Jin – You need to visit Tea Master Liu Su, then you are bound to find Yun Jin sitting at the furthest table here.
Liyue
- Ningguang – Head towards the Jade Chamber in Liyue to find her inside talking to Baizhu.
- Xingqiu – You can find Xingqiu southwest of Qingce Village, in Bishui Plain.
Watatsumi Island
Kokomi – If you have completed Kokomi’s quest Warriors’ Dreams Like Spring Grass Renewing, then you would know that she has a secret base. If you haven’t found this base yet, visit the waypoint just south from Bourou Village, jump down and glide west to find the secret cave.
All Kazuha Locations
The first location you can find Kazuha is near a pond in Sea of Clouds, Liyue. First, head over to the waypoint that is north of Liyue Harbor. From there, head east to find a pond where Kazuha is sitting nearby. The next location where you can find Kazuha is near the Sea of Clouds Statue of Seven.
All Zhongli Locations
There are two locations where you can spot Zhongli. You can find him in Wanmen Bookhouse, Liyue Harbor. You can also find him at the Opera house in Yilong Wharf, just south of the Yilong Wharf waypoint.
Mondstadt
- Diona – Head along the path that leads to Wolvendom. You can find Diona standing behind a tree in the woods.
- Diluc – Make your way to Dawn Winery and head inside to find Diluc sitting at a table.
- Sucrose – Head east of Mondstadt towards the Thousand Winds Temple. You have to head up the stone arches of the temple to find her.
- Amber – She can be found in Starfell Valley. You would have recognized this as the first place where you encounter her as part of her Archon quest.
- Rosaria – You can find her talking to Albert outside the Favonius Cathedral.
- Noelle – For Noelle, make your way to Knights of Favonius Headquarters and head northwest towards the training grounds. You can find her either training here alone or talking to Jean, and you can interact with her both times to get different dialogues.
- Fischl – You don’t have to leave the Knights of Favonius Headquarters right away, as you can find Fischl inside the HQ. Head towards the library and go up to the second floor to find her.
