The Tidefall update is now available in Fisch, and it’s quite an ambitious deep-sea expansion to the Roblox experience. There are a lot of new things that the developers have introduced as part of the new patch, with major highlights being new quests, items, and Essences
You will need to prepare extensively before approaching the specific location in Fisch, and there are key requirements to fulfill. Here is a detailed guide on Tidefall, which will help you find, navigate, and complete the different quests in Fisch.
How to find and enter Tidefall in Fisch
You can Tidefall between Moosewood and the Ancient Isles in Fisch. Essentially, you must navigate to coordinates 3224, 130, 847 using the GPS. Upon reaching there, you will see a cluster of boats marking the entry point to the underwater cavern system with unique fish, crafting opportunities, and essential essences.
You will need either a submarine or a boat to begin your descent. I recommend using a submarine because it lets you go deeper while protecting you from damage.
However, there will be a point where your submarine cannot proceed further. You will then have to leave the vessel and swim manually toward the capsized grey submarine below. Finally, you must move through the narrow crevice beyond it to enter Tidefall.
Keep in mind that water pressure in Tidefall deals serious damage. Accordingly, you will need to equip the Advanced Diving Gear paired with Super Flippers and carry the Tidebreaker tool.
There is also another alternative, i.e., you can proceed ahead by unlocking the Water Bubble through mermaid quests and combining it with Tidebreaker. This is comparatively better and more efficient.
Rescue Diver quest and Abyssal Tonic in Fisch
After you enter Tidefall, you will find a red boat near the entrance with NPCs onboard. You can interact with them to start the Rescue Diver quest. This quest sends you back underwater to locate a missing diver near the capsized submarine. You must hold “E” to carry him on your back and swim to the surface before pressure kills you both.
Completing this quest unlocks the Abyssal Tonic. It is quite a game-changing item as it negates underwater pressure damage.
How to collect all Essences in Fisch’s Tidefall
Tidefall has introduced a total of three new essences, which are pretty essential for mermaid progression in Fisch. To begin with, you can get the Requis Essence from the Magical Diver in the Sunken Reliquary. You will have to hand him a Fallen Flying Gurnard and an Omnithal. This is the guaranteed essence you can get through quests.
In the meantime, the Tide and Thalass Essences drop from Dripstones during Dripstone Collapse events. I recommend purchasing the Dripstone Collapse Totem for 35 million C$ near the Fallen Rod location. The Totem triggers the event on command rather than waiting for random spawns.
Once the particular event activates, you can use the pickaxe on the spawned Dripstones to extract the two Essences. You will also get rocks from these drops, so farming multiple collapses will provide you with solid resources.
