The best location to complete Kill A Canine Challenge in Fallout 76 is the Aaronholt Homestead located north of Vault 76. Once you travel there and move around a bit, you will come across atleast 4 Mongrels that can be killed to get the counter moving on this challenge. It is worth noting over here that Mutant Hounds and Mongrels both count as Canines and killing either of these will add to your numbers.
The other places to complete this challenge are:
- West Tek Research Centre located west of Kerwood Mine. You will run across Mutant Hounds both outside and inside the centre.
- Crimson Prospect located in the South Eastern part of the map in the Cranberry bog region. It is a Blood Eagle stronghold, so keep that in mind when entering this area.
- Federal Disposal Field HZ -21 located in the South Eastern part of the map, east to Hornwright Estate. The location also has hazmat suits and a fusion core among other loot items.
