How To Play As Mantis In Marvel Rivals
Mantis’s skillset has something different that sets her apart from the other Marvel heroes. She can utilize her Life Orbs to constantly heal or boost damage on herself and her allies. There are four Life Orbs to use, and once you use a Life Orb, there is a 3 sec cooldown. Critical Hits using the Life Energy Blast ability will help recover Life Orbs immediately. Now that you know how Life Orbs work, let’s see how to fit Mantis best in the team.
Since she is a support character, Mantis is a great pick when not dealing with the frontlines. It is best to pair Mantis up with stronger heroes like Star-Lord, Psylocke, or Rocket Racoon. If you wish to go with Mantis’s Team Up Ability, then have her paired up with Adam Warlock for additional healing from the both of them. You need to pair up Mantis with tankier characters so she won’t be a target of enemy attacks and can focus more on healing.
As for her attacks, keep Mantis out of reach from enemies and focus on using her ranged attacks when cornered. Keeping her close to allies is the best way to play as Mantis, and her damage boost on herself and allies will be beneficial during a match. You can also stun enemies using Spore Slumber, but make sure you don’t wake them up by attacking them. Overall, Mantis is a great healer and offers huge boosts of HP regeneration when you use her skills right.
