Superheroine Squirrel Girl has been added to Marvel Rivals along with various other exciting characters. She belongs to the Duelist class and has her own set of quirky yet powerful abilities that can make gameplay more fun.

This unique character first appeared in Marvel Super Heroes Winter Special of 1991 and has been a well-known superheroine ever since. Like her powers in the comics, Marvel Rivals uses her ability to communicate with squirrels in the game as well. Here’s a guide on all of her abilities and how to use them in each battle.

Who doesn’t like seeing their enemies be attacked by a horde of squirrels? That’s exactly what Squirrel Girls’ abilities are all about. From her Squirrel Blockade attack to the Unbeatable Squirrel Tsunami, each ability revolves around her fun mutation that makes her a squirrel whisperer.

    Normal Attack:

    AbilityEffect
Burst AcornThis attack will have Squirrel Girl shooting a bunch of acorns at the enemy using her powerful slingshot. It does quite a bit of damage if you aim the slingshot perfectly.

    Q Key Ability:

    AbilityEffect
Unbeatable Squirrel TsunamiThe most adorable attack ever, this ability has Squirrel Girl summoning a group of squirrels that will attack each enemy. They can also bounce off of structures and are pretty hard to kill, making them good attackers.

    LSHIFT Ability:

    AbilityEffect
Tail BounceThis ability allows Squirrel Girl to bounce upwards. It can be used to climb high structures or gain the upper ground in fights by attacking from a height.

    E Key Ability:

    AbilityEffect
Mammal BondThis ability can reload burst acorns and throw them at high force at the enemy. It will also allow Squirrel Girl to use an ability without any cooldowns, once in a short duration.

    RMB Ability:

    AbilityEffect
Squirrel BlockadeAnother fun attack, this will have Squirrel Girl throwing a huge acorn at the enemy, causing a bunch of squirrels to imprison him.

    Team Up Ability:

    AbilityEffect
Webbed AcornThis C Key or Team Up Ability will have Squirrel Girl & Spiderman teaming up to launch a webbed acorn that can burst at the enemies and damage their health. All enemies within the burst range will lose some of their health.

The Team Up Ability can be helpful in group fights where you want to attack a bunch of enemies. It does enough damage but you need to make sure that you throw the webbed acorns at the right place.

How To Play As Squirrel Girl In Marvel Rivals

While Squirrel Girl’s abilities might not look so powerful when compared to other characters that you get to play in Marvel Rivals, her squirrel attacks are a breath of fresh air that can make battles more interesting. She can’t jump or levitate, but her double jump using her tail can make up for it. When used at the right time, you won’t even notice any difference.

Her best pairing is with Spiderman, since you can then use the Team Up ability and bring down multiple enemies at once. To make the most of her abilities, you can first use the Burst Acorn ability to attack the enemies head-on. If there are many of them close to each other, you can go for the Unbeatable Squirrel Tsunami Attack.

You should use the Squirrel Blockade attack when you want to weaken your opponent. Use the Mammal Bond with any of these abilities to increase the cooldown period. You can use it with Tail Bounce to quickly move to a safer place. Squirrel Girl’s weakness is vertical areas, so using Mammal Bond here would be a huge help.

Marvel Rivals perfectly utilizes her ability to speak to squirrels by forming attacks that revolve around it. Squirrel Girl is fun to play with since she can just call a group of violent and powerful squirrels to bring down her enemies. This is the kind of superheroine that will make you want to play more Duelist battles.

If you’re into strategic fights that use complicated abilities, then you’d be better off with characters like Cloak and Dagger. On the other hand, if you like playing fun characters and exploring other kinds of high-offense attacks, Squirrel Girl will be the one to go with. Once you understand her abilities, you can use Squirrel Girl for some unexpectedly powerful attacks on the enemies.
