Many times in MMOs, you will acquire plenty of items with weird names but knowing how to use these items is always rare for the players. There have been plenty of times I came face to face in MMOs, where the items will be piling up and I would have no clue on how to use them in the game. In Throne & Liberty, you have your Abyssal Contract Tokens, if you just open your inventory you will find an abundance amount of these tokens. If you are looking for help on how to use or even get more of these Abyssal Contract Tokens in Throne & Liberty, this guide answers exactly that.
What Are Abyssal Contract Tokens In Throne & Liberty?
Abyssal Contract Tokens are items which, when spent in open-world dungeons will raise the chance of Enemy’s item drop, material, gear, and Exp Gain. Essentially, these are great items to have with you if you are looking to gain XP or target a certain weapon/item drop from an enemy. You can check the top right of the screen for a skull with horns icon. The number next to it is your current number of Abyssal Contract Tokens.
Note: You will only carry 20,000 Abyssal Contract Tokens at a time.
How To Use Abyssal Contract Token In Throne & Liberty
You do not need to actively use these Tokens – when you enter an open-world dungeon and defeat enemies, these tokens will get used up passively / automatically, and in return increase the quality of item drops and drop rates from the enemies. The drops can be weapons, Lithographs, ore and several such useful items.
When you have many of these tokens piling up in your inventory, that would be a good time to try out these open-world dungeons and accumulate some good loot. You may also want to hold on to these till you have a better idea of your target build, and accordingly which equipment/item to farm for.
Pro Tip: Grind the times during the day, if you jump into these Dungeons at night, then the game will put you in the PvP mod. A risky play, as dying in the dungeon at night is an immediate removal from the zone.
Currently, there are these 2 dungeons available for spending Abyssal Contract Tokens:
- Ant Nest, located in the Moonlight Desert.
- Advantages:
- Popular spot for grind.
- Friendly to all levels
- Solo and Co-Op allowed
- Syleus’s Abyss is located in the center of Shattered Temple.
- Advantages:
- Multiple Floors

Note: Not all dungeons will drop the same level or type of gear, venturing you to different dungeons then you can start mowing down enemies. Dungeons also have power levels set to them, make sure you are at the same level as the Dungeon to pull off some decent damage to the mob,

- Floors of the dungeon will play a huge role, some floors are tougher than others, here you need to think about setting up a party before venturing forth.
