Treasure map E3 is one of the earliest treasure maps you get in Dying Light: The Beast, and solving it gives you pretty useful rewards. You can find it in a specific area of Castor Wood, and unless you know about it, can easily be missed. In this guide, we’ll show you the exact location of the map, share the steps to complete it, and the potential rewards you can get from solving the map.
Where to Get The Treasure Map E3 in Dying Light: The Beast

The E3 Treasure Map is located in the Town Hall of Castor Wood, one of the bigger settlements in-game. To get it, start at the large door with a blue light, and take a left to reach an office cubicle. Inside the cubicle, take a left to enter an area where you will see two people talking with each other, and a map on the table. Unlike the treasure map D3, you can find this one fairly early in Dying Light: The Beast.
The map shows a sketch of an apartment, with clues detailing how to track it. This is also the first map you will come across, working like a tutorial of sorts to teach the system.
Where to Get The Treasure Map E3 Rewards in Dying Light: The Beast

With the treasure map in your possession and the details, it is time to track down the location and get the reward.
- Exit the Town Hall, and start moving southwest. Reach the area on the map we’ve attached, to find an old, derelict building.

- Enter this building and go through the hole in the wall to enter a room. Be careful, there will be a zombie standing around, and a rigged explosive behind a door. Slowly move towards the zombie and aggro it. Then, stand back and see the zombie exploding.

- Then, move a large cupboard covering a door to open up the room where the locked treasure is. On the right wall is a wooden panel that covers the doorway. Open it, and exit the house to go to a white house just opposite this building.

- Enter the house, take out every zombie, and grab the key from a bald, dead person.

- Then, return to the original house, interact with the locked cupboard, and receive the rewards.

Completing the E3 map in Dying Light: The Beast gives you anything ranging from antibiotics to a military medkit. The loot here won’t be as high-level as the ones you’ll get later, since this is fairly early game. This treasure map, however, is a good way to get an idea of how the treasure hunting works in Dying Light: The Beast.
