Dragon Age has been a hugely popular series, and each title offers a unique gameplay experience with different storylines and quests to pick up. The most awaited title in the RPG series is the Veilguard, and now that it is finally here, you can experience the world of Thedas and the challenges it brings. The quest list is quite extensive, as you got the main story quests and the side quests to complete, as well as companion and regional quests.
Sometimes you will bump into puzzles during your exploration, so you need to figure out how to solve them to continue onwards. During the regional quest Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain, you will spot a puzzle to solve. In this guide we have covered exactly that: the easiest way to solve the Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain puzzle in Dragon Age The Veilguard.
How to Start The Treasure Of Sharkmouth Mountain Quest In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain is one of the regional quests you can pick up while exploring the Rivain Coast. You need to complete the ‘Lair of the Dragon King’ Companion Quest for Taash first before you can unlock the Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain quest.
How To Solve The Treasure Of Sharkmouth Mountain Puzzle In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Once you make your way to the volcanic area of Rivain Coast, you will spot a locked Grey Warden tower. The only way to get through to the tower is to solve a quick puzzle nearby. You will spot four Grey Warden statues near the tower, and you need to rotate them in the right direction to solve the puzzle. If you check your quest journal, you get a hint to explore the area to find four other statues that will give you pointers on how to rotate each Grey Warden statue at the tower.
This objective in particular can be difficult, since the statues can potentially be anywhere, plus enemies have a chance to respawn when you leave one zone to travel to the next. Instead of trying to find the other statues and risk getting killed, you can instead rotate the existing statues by following the method below.
- Ser Dheon (leftmost statue): turn forward.
- Ser Ifean (middle to left statue): turn backwards.
- Ser Cruach (middle to right statue): turn towards the statue’s left.
- Ser Rian the Red (rightmost statue): turn towards the statue’s right.
If done correctly, the door to the tower will unlock, and you can head inside to find three treasure chests containing some rare loot. While you don’t encounter this puzzle very early in the game, you can still memorize the formation of the statues to make it easier for you while trying to access the Grey Warden Tower.
