You can now start a series of quests where you get a chance to invite Peter Pan to your growing Disney family. But, before we can go ahead and send him an invite, you need to complete the last quest as part of the new update. The Music’s on the Walls quest offers several unique objectives to clear, and it might take a while to get through them all. This guide will cover how to complete the quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How To Complete The Music’s on the Walls Quest
The first objective you will get when this quest goes active is to follow The Forgotten and The Shadow in Skull Rock. You would have been tailing them all throughout the questline, so seek them out on Skull Rock and talk to them to get the next objective.
Follow the Glowing Musical Note
Head back to the starting area where the ship is docked, and you will spot a floating Musical Note. Interact with it to get a memory, and you will get another objective alongside this one.
Unlock and Search the Captain’s Chest
Head into the Captain’s Cabin of the ship and use the key that you had obtained from The Forgotten during a prior quest. You will get a treasure map from the chest, so head back to The Forgotten and ask them some questions about the map. You also need to figure out more information about the memory that the Musical Note dropped previously, so ask about that too.
Find Buried Pirate Treasure and 5 Glowing Musical Notes
Now that you know more about the pirate map and the new memory, head back to The Valley and visit Dazzle Beach. Over here, you will find a raft in Orb Pillar Island, interact with it to be taken to a smaller island with a marked spot on the ground.
Dig it up to collect the Pan Flute, and you can now start exploring the rest of the world to collect the 5 musical notes. Below are the locations you need to go and search for them.
- The first note can be obtained while solving the Jade Skull riddles during the Shadows on the Wall quest. You can find the Jade Skulls on Skull Rock.
- The second note can be found in Ursula’s Cave, also within Dazzle Beach. Use your fishing rod in the water to fish out the note.
- The third note is inside the treehouse in the Forgotten Land.
- Your next location is in Frosted Heights, inside Olaf’s Cave. Use your pickaxe to break the stalagmites and the music note will appear.
- Enter Dream Castle to locate the final note, and it can be found floating all around the main area.
Play the Complete Score
Return to The Forgotten in Skull Rock and show them the Pan Flute and the 5 Musical Notes. You will be tasked with placing them both on the musical altar. Do just that, then your next objective will be to press the buttons on the barrels in front of the larger notes on the screen ahead. The notes should match with the alignment of the notes on the musical altar, so you need to position them all correctly.
Once done, interact with the musical altar and activate the Pan Flute. The Shadow will come over and move all the musical notes, so you need to redo them. Head over to the workbench in the corner and craft the Pixie Dust Lantern to trap the Shadow, then place it on the rotating wheel on the left side. Point the lantern’s light at the wooden board between the musical note screens to trap the Shadow in it.
Find Peter Pan’s Hiding Spot
After rearranging the music notes again and playing the flute, your objective will change to find Peter Pan. Head back to The Valley and enter Furniture Mode to locate the Pixie Trail left behind by Peter Pan. The trail will lead you to the Dream Castle’s plaza area, but Peter Pan won’t be inside the castle. Rather, step into the portal beside the Wishing Well to be led into Dark Dream Castle.
Once inside, you will notice the rest of the Pixie Trail left behind, so follow it to be led through some doors and teleportation points till you spot Peter Pan near the stairs. Interact with him and he will now be added to your growing list of Disney characters. Don’t forget to place his house on the map when you get the time.
