While exploring the many maps in ARC Raiders, players randomly encounter the unique Harvester event. This is a great way to farm legendary blueprints, provided you know how to navigate the internal sections of the ship. The path towards your goal is not straightforward, and you will encounter several hurdles along the way. This guide details how to complete the Harvester event in ARC Raiders.
How to Complete the Harvester Event in ARC Raiders
You will receive a pop-up notification when the Harvester event takes place while checking out the various maps. Once you head over to the Harvester ship, you will encounter several unique enemy variations, including the large ARC Queen. To enter the Harvester ship, there are two ways to do so: by either heading straight on and fighting your way through hordes of enemies or stealthily forward.
If you head towards the Harvester either through the north or southeast, you can avoid detection from most enemies. Run towards any of the three entrances on the ship after the Queen’s back is turned towards you and the entrance is not infiltrated by enemies. The entrance is blocked by panels, and it takes time to move them aside. Stand guard while someone on your team works on the panel.
Navigating the Inside of the Harvester
Once inside the ship, you will find a large central pillar. This pillar either spews electromagnetic energy to stun you, or fills the room with fire and deals immense damage. You will receive clear indicators of the type of attack move the pillar will perform. If the pillar flashes blue and yellow, it releases electric power and zaps everyone inside the ship. If the pillar turns yellow and red, the area is engulfed in flames.
To avoid EMP damage, stash your shield from your equipped slot into your backpack before entering the ship. In this way, you get stunned but do not take any damage, and your shield does not have to work overtime to protect you. The shield is re-equipped after the event is completed to facilitate its regeneration.
To avoid the second type of attack, where the pillar fills the room with fire, exit the ship immediately and stand around the entrance. Wait for the rocket to be launched, which extinguishes the fire inside the room. Again, tinker with the panels blocking the entrance to head back inside. Be sure you do not get caught by the Queen while you are outside. These two attacks will repeat periodically, so keep an eye on the pillar while completing the Harvester event.
Collect the Canisters
Around the room, you will spot elevated platforms that will take you halfway to the top. Jump up on the ledge above and look around for panels to uncover them. You need to find canisters stashed away randomly within these panels and collect three of them for the puzzle.
You will spot one canister near the central pillar, whereas the other two canisters are hidden. After locating the canisters, take them to the central pillar. Investigate the base of the pillar to find hatches to unlock. Place the canisters inside to complete the puzzle.
Destroy the Yellow Buttons
Next, check around the room to find yellow buttons that are stuck to the walls. You might find some on the ground floor and even overhead on the platforms above. Once you find them, destroy them using a melee weapon. Ranged weapons take much longer to tear them down. If you find that the buttons have been redacted, then that means that the central pillar is ready to spew out fire.
Take cover outside the ship and head back inside once it is over. You need to redo the canister puzzle and reapply the canisters inside the central pillar to make the buttons reappear. Continue locating and knocking down all the buttons until there are none left. This will shut down the central pillar, and you will gain three loot chest spawns in the room.
Exiting the Harvester and Rewards
To exit the Harvester, book it to the nearest extraction point, or use the Raiders Hatch key to extract. If you are heading outside, take a peek around first to check the location of the Queen and whether there are any rocketeer spawns nearby. If you do spot the rocketeer ARCs, once the Queen has her back turned to you, use a silenced weapon to shoot them down. Then, make a run for it to escape with your loot.
The two blueprints you can acquire by completing the event are for crafting the Jupiter or the Equalizer. The Jupiter is a legendary sniper rifle with high Stability and Range, and it acts similarly to a rail gun. The Equalizer is a legendary special weapon that deals energy damage, and while it lacks damage output, it does a pretty good job of destroying ARC armor. Store these blueprints in a safe pocket to avoid losing them.
