In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, like any good RPG, you get the option to romance NPCs. Some don’t end well for you, like the one here, however, thankfully, you can romance Alisa without any such consequences. This guide covers exactly how to go about doing that.
How To Romance Alisa in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon
You must select the right dialog options over a series of quests to romance Alisa in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. You will first come across her at Ron’s Tavern in the Horns of the South during Act 1. Below are the steps you need to take:
Start The One Percent Quest
This is the starting quest that you can get from Alisa after talking to her for the first time. Ask her about herself and compliment her whenever the chance appears. Snubbing her or rejecting her will fail the romance. Keep sweet-talking to her till she eventually gives you the One Percent quest.
For this, head over to the Seaside Mansion and clear it of bandits. Return to Alisa at Ron’s Tavern to report your findings. You will find her sitting with her husband, Duncan, so inform them that the mansion is now safe. She will promptly move in there with her husband, and you can visit her later to start the next quest.
Farewell, Lady Alisa Quest
Speak to Alisa at Seaside Mansion, where she will inform you that her husband has been kidnapped and you need to find him and bring him home. Head over to the Miner’s Tunnels east of King’s Road waypoint. Once inside the tunnels, you will find Duncan perfectly safe. He will confess that he doesn’t want to go back, and will give you his ring to show Alisa and claim his death.
Return to her at the mansion, and you can either choose to lie to her or tell her the truth. Regardless of what you pick, she will tell you that she wishes to sell the house and move away. Convince her to stay and not sell the home by implanting the idea of starting a business. Inform her that you will help her gather whatever materials are required for her business, which will start the next objective in her questline.
My Fair Lady Quest
For this quest, you need to bring back three materials for her business, namely 12x Seashells, 1x Frayed Silk Gloves, and 1x Ragged Nobleman’s Doublet. The last two items can be found in the crates within Miner’s Tunnel. As for the seashells, you need to defeat Drowners and get them as drops. Return to Alisa to hand over the items, and she will pay for your troubles.
Refuse the payment, and tell her that you will always listen to her. You will soon get a dialog option to ask her out on a date. The place of romance will be the deck near her home, but it requires some repairs. Find wood, which is a common material to get, and repair it. Then, you can ask her out formally, and she will accept.
Pavilion Answers
During the date, Alisa will be interested in you and your line of work, and she will ask you a couple of questions. You need to pick the right response so you can continue dating her. Below are the right dialog options to pick during your conversation with her.
- I dabbled in magic.
- Some magic is outlawed, but not all of it.
- I didn’t take you for a religious woman.
- Of course, it was meeting you, Alisa.
- I saw a sea monster.
- It was massive, bigger than a ship.
- Alisa, are you saying you’d like to spend more time with me?
The date will end on a positive note after this, where she will tell you that she would like to do this again sometime soon.
Yours Forever Trophy/ Achievement
Visit Alisa at her house sometime later, and she will hand over a unique gift. Select the following dialog options when they appear.
- Alisa, Is this a Courting Gift?
- Alisa, are you blushing?
- I thought love was beneath you.
- I’ve grown rather fond of you too, Alisa.
Picking the right dialogs successfully will unlock the Yours Forever trophy, and you can collect the following items from her.
- Always Accessorize, Darling – Amulet
- Passive: Increases HP Regen by 1 if health is below 10%. Also gives a 5% increase in max HP.
- Fetching Yet Practical Adornment – Armor Relic
- Passive: Mana regen increases by 0.5, and gives 3 max stamina increase.
- Fashionable Doublet +4 – Cuirass
- Passive: 7.0 Armor and 10% increase in attack speed.
You will also get a new quest from Alisa called Stone by Stone, where you need to help her redecorate some sections of her house so you can move in. Check your map for 3 marked locations around her house and head over there to repair them. Return to her once your work is completed to finish the quest. Talking to her after that will give you random rewards each time you tell her that you missed her, and you can also loot the chests within her home to find more items.
