Code Vein 2 – How to Get the Blade Dance Weapon Forma

Code Vein 2 loves to put items in locations that you won’t find unless you’re actively exploring the world. This is especially true after you leave MagMell Island, since that’s when the map really opens up and lets you run around at will.

Blade Dance is a great forma if you’re an aggressive player, but its location is incredibly random, as in you wouldn’t think to look for it in the location where it’s sitting. However, its location is exactly what makes it possible to pick up right after you leave MagMell Island and arrive at the Sunken City.

After you arrive at the Sunken City, you can follow the shore to the northeast. You’ll find a gas station with Jadwiga’s Minion under its roof, even though the building is partially in the water. If you face the water and look to the right, you’ll see some ruins and an enemy standing on a piece of those ruins overlooking the gas station.

When you’re close enough, that enemy will shoot at you. He’s standing right where the Blade Dance Forma is, so use him as a compass. The ruined building is quite small, so it won’t take long to climb up and find the enemy. Kill him, and pick up the item indicated by the glowing light.

With that, you’ll have received the Blade Dance Forma. While it’s useful, it does still require Ichor to use, so you can’t spam it in combat. I recommend pairing it with ailments like Stone, which you can stack on enemies when you use an option like Battle Axe: Idris’s Conceit as your Bequeathed Forma, because you can give yourself a small burst window against enemies where they’re held in place and unable to attack you. This helps you make the most of your forma in Code Vein 2.

What Does the Blade Dance Do in Code Vein 2?

When you use it, Blade Dance gives you a temporary boost to attack power when you damage an enemy with your weapon. This rewards an aggressive playstyle, since you’ll be increasing your damage when you deal damage, encouraging you to keep pressing your enemies to make the most out of the forma.
