The Gestral village is the next location on the map after completing the quest in the Ancient Sanctuary. The village lets you shop for expeditions, loot, and engage in combat with Gestrals, which will strengthen your characters. While the place offers a lot to explore, it gets a bit confusing on how to leave, especially when the chief asks you to leave from the back door. How To Leave The Gestral Village
You are supposed to leave the Gestral Village through the same portal that you used to enter it. Once you have explored the village, you should find the Chief’s house and complete the quest. If you follow the wooden slat path and then turn left, you can see the signage for the Chief’s house.
If you enter the path marked by the signage, you can find the chief’s house, with a Gestral warrior guarding it. The Golgra will then demand that you participate in a legendary tournament and win it to get the password to open the gate to reach the Esquie’s nest, which is east of the village. The battle will also result in you gaining a team member. You get the password on completing Golgra’s demand.
Now head out the same way you came in and go back to the Rest Point. You will see the portal; head back out of the Gestral village.
In the last conversation with Golgra, you will be informed that the back door of the village has been opened for you. This can confuse the players into assuming the backdoor is the way out of the Gestral village. You can only find the backdoor once you have gotten out of the Gestral village. The backdoor leads you to the next area in the game and is located southeast of the Gestral village.
