Chrono Odyssey has a closed beta, and if you are one of those playing and exploring the game, one thing you would want unlocked as early as possible is a way to quickly move from one area to the next. In this guide, we have put up all details on how to unlock the horse in Chrono Odyssey.
How To Get A Mount In Chrono Odyssey
You can get a horse in Chrono Odyssey by completing Gone with the Wind quest given by an NPC named Medina. Head up to the Santove’s Discovery stone in Shady Vale. This area is to the south-east of where you would first begin your journey in the game. Talk to Medina, she is a Stable Keeper and will be found next to a few horses. She mentions that her horse, Snowy, has wandered off, and pleads with you to get her back. Crucially, she also describes how Snowy looks, and that will be important later when you are heading off and trying to spot one horse among several that are roaming around.

So, (like the name), she is white, and has a black mane. With that info, you now have the Gone with the Wind quest open, and if you track that quest, you will see the location that you need to go to find Snowy. The yellow circle will be to the east of your current location.
Now, you have to approach the right horse and press E on your keyboard to calm the horse. This will most likely take quite a bit of time, as in my experience, the horses tend to run away the moment you approach them, or start pressing E.
Thankfully, there is a way to make this process easier: Open up the tab, select the icon on top, ‘Temporal Isolation’. This locks the horses in their place for a few crucial seconds, allowing you to approach and calm them before they have the chance to run away.
After you get the right horse, return to Medina, she will thank you and give you a ‘Snowys’ Reins’ horseshoe, which is essentially a trading item that you can use to unlock your first mount.
As an aside, you can also buy this horseshoe from Medina and unlock a mount without the need to do this quest, but it will cost you a whopping 100,000 gold, and that is much better spent elsewhere, assuming you have got anywhere close to this amount this early in the game.
