The password you must select is “Let’s Go DYN4MO!”. Each word needs to be chosen separately from the dialogue choices. Once you’ve entered it correctly, follow the on-screen marker to reach the contest area and start the event.
Naveen will continue to assist you through the earpiece during the quiz, so keep an eye on his hints. If you’re new to the game, this part also gives a good chance to get used to its flow and pacing before tougher missions, especially once you start diving deeper into its battle system section later on.

- “Macarons are my favorite food!” – False
- “Electric-type Pokémon are my fave!” – True
If you’re unsure, follow Mani, who calls himself Canari’s number one fan. He always moves to the correct square.
Another way to find the right answers is to pay attention to the other contestants’ dialogue; those who sound unsure or say something unrelated are usually on the wrong side.
Answering all three correctly will complete the first round and allow you to move on to the next part of the contest. While taking part in this round, you might notice some trainers nearby using Pokémon like Fennekin, which adds a familiar and nostalgic touch to the atmosphere.
Final Round of the Canari Quiz Whiz Contest
After finishing the first set of questions, your next task is to find a dessert that Canari’s Pokémon, Eelektross, loves. You’ll need to head to Cafe Gallant and purchase a Super Lumiose Galette. Once you’ve bought it, return to Canari at the Electrical Substation to continue.
Before the contest officially ends, you’ll have to battle Mani of DYN4MO, who challenges you to a Pokémon battle. His team consists of three Electric-type Pokémon:
- Helioptile
- Emolga
- Raichu
Since Mani’s team is entirely Electric-type, bringing Ground-type Pokémon will give you a big advantage. Defeating Mani will wrap up the final round of the Canari Quiz Whiz Contest.
After the Contest
Once you beat Mani, you’ll move into the last segment of the mission. Naveen will help you with the final question, and the correct answer you’ll need to provide is “Your Grandpa.” After answering correctly, Canari will agree to battle you later at Racine Construction, marking the completion of this part of your main story.
