In Cairn, you’ll encounter a number of kites floating in the air as you explore Kami. However, almost all of them tend to be attached to the save points where you can set up your Bivouac.

However, there is one kite you’ll need to locate if you want to unlock an achievement aptly named ‘love birds’

Rody and Johanna’s story is a touching one, and you have the power to round off their story. But, to do that, you’ll need to know exactly where to find the kite.

Where Is Rody & Johanna’s Kite In Cairn?

To find this kite, you’ll need to make it most of the way up the mountain. You’ll want to naturally progress up the mountain until you get to the scene where Marco disappears in the night and you need to climb onward to find them.

This is a portion of the game where you will also need to embrace to ice climbing mechanics, so be sure to move very carefully as you climb onward.

From here you don’t really need to do anything other than climb as high as you can up the cliff you start on. There will be the option of heading into the mountain and exploring the caves within. But, you’ll find no kite in there.

Instead, you’ll want to head up until you see the mountain split into two peaks. The peak on the right is the one you’ll want to set your sights on. You’ll notice that near the top of this peak, there’s a wooden walkway, and upon that walkway you’ll find a kite blowing in the wind.

From here, all you need to do to earn this achievement is walk up to the kite, take a look at the resin keepsake and then cut the string, allowing the kite to soar into the sky.

Callum is a seasoned gaming managing editor for a number of publications and a gamer who will always try to shine a spotlight on indie games before giving AAA titles the time of day. He loves nothing more than finding an unearthed early-access title and seeing what they have to offer. Plus, he’s even got a tattoo of The Traveller from Journey and a Junimo, so you know that love for indies is legit! Callum has been around the block within the gaming industry, working as an Editor-in-chief for a number of well-respected gaming outlets; he has worked as a games tester, he has gaming podcast experience, and he has worked in gaming PR. Basically, you name it, and Callum was probably there or somewhere on the periphery. Outside of gaming, Callum loves skateboarding despite his immediate family telling him to grow up, and he is also known to watch the British sitcom Peep Show on repeat and will go toe-to-toe with anyone on Peep Show trivia.
