Cairn: How To Find & Shoot Fireworks

As you work your way up Kami in Cairn, you’ll likely come across a few items that don’t necessarily serve a purpose in terms of your well-being and survival. But, equally, have a purpose beyond just eating or drinking to stay alive.

One such item is the Fireworks. A miscellaneous item, if you’ve ever seen one, but one that is tied to a specific achievement in the game.

You may be wondering where these are hidden, and indeed, where you can shoot them into the sky. So, we have you covered on all fronts.

Where Are The Fireworks In Cairn?

    Cairn Fireworks Path

The fireworks are located along the Kami Cable Car path, and then off the beaten path slightly into a hidden cave that serves as a hidden rave for climbers on the mountain.

To reach this, you’ll want to get to the area where you find another broken Climb bot. Then from there, you’ll want to take the leftmost path, following the red rail.

You’ll then want to take a running leap over to the cliff ahead, and then make a safe climb either up or around. I would suggest around, as the climb up to the open shelter is tricky.

Assuming you’ve worked around to the left, you’ll then see an opening just below the large sheltered area above. So climb up and left toward this, and you’ll eventually be able to reach this cave and crawl through the gap. This route is depicted best by the sketched map show above

Once inside, just be aware of the sheer drop. You need to hug the wall and shimmy over to explore further into the cave. But, it’s also worth noting that there is a bottle of booze located in that hole, and it’s well worth rappelling down to get it.

After this, you’ll have entered the rave cave, and you’ll then want to head to the source of the music. Sitting alongside this boombox, you’ll find the fireworks lying on the floor.

    How To Shoot The Fireworks

Getting them is one thing, but it’s not immediately clear how to shoot these fireworks off. But thankfully, it’s pretty simple if you know how.

All you need to do is rest at a short break station, which is usually marked with a cairn with a red flag attached.

Once you sit down, the game will offer you the option to light fireworks, and then you can sit back, and watch as they light up the sky. Earning you the Light up the sky trophy in the process.
