There are plenty of reasons to shoot down a Meteor and more reasons to do it in a video game. In Call of Duty Black Ops 6, when you shoot down the meteor with a giant cannon in the sky, the game gives you quite a handful of unique rewards. If you don’t want to miss out on the rewards or want to see a Meteor in the sky blown up into pieces, we have prepared a guide to help you get the Terminus Meteor Easter Egg in Black Ops 6 faster.

How To Complete The Meteor Easter Egg In Terminus

The Terminus Meteor Easter Egg involves shooting down the Meteor with a specific weapon, the Void Cannon which is near the Mess Hall and activates for 1750 Essence. But before you do that, you must complete a series of steps, which we have listed below:

Unlock Pack-A-Punch lift in Terminus: Before we get to the easter egg in Terminus, you must complete the Pack-A-Punch quest line in Terminus.

Unlock Dead Wire Ammo: After activating the Pack-A-Punch machine, head to the Arsenal machine and craft the Dead Wire Ammo(500 Salvage).

    Shooting Two Antenna Towers

The only objective here is to shoot down two towers and turn the light on the top from Green to Red. The towers are scattered throughout the map, but they can be very easy to find since they do stick out being the tallest objects in the game. Make sure to pack-A-punch your gun and switch to Dead Wire Ammo to hit the towers.

    Tower Location #1

    Location: Storage Area

Head to the storage area, and take the slope right across the Mess Hall. Not hard to miss, there will be a lot of palm trees around it. Take the stairs to the higher ground. Here turn to your left, and you will see the antenna next to the watch tower. Use the Dead Wire Ammo with Pack-A-Punch enabled to turn the light from Green to Red.

    Tower Location #2

    Location: Storage area

From the place where you shot the first tower, jump down to the floor below, no need to go all the way down to the ground floor. Here you will be able to spot the the second tower far away to your left. Shoot it with the Dead Wire Ammo and turn the color Red.

    Location: Near the Mess Hall

And that’s it, now head back to the Void Cannon next to the Mess Hall. Spend 1750 Essence on the machine next to the Cannon to activate it.

Note: Once you activate the Void Cannon, you will also have to deal with the zombies around you. Kill the zombies, after the coast is clear. Look at the sky, the beam from the Void Cannon will hit the meteor. You will be able to see the explosion.

The meteor will then crash land into one of the islands around Terminus. The landing spot for the meteor will create a Biohazard symbol on the map to help you easier to pick out the crashed island. Grab the boat and head to the location to find some good loot out of the meteor we just crashed.

    Rewards For Destroying The Meteor

Here are the rewards for destroying the Meteor with the Void Cannon.

    • Salvages
    • Armor Plate
    • Mangler Cannon
    • Shadow Rift Ammo Mod
    • Brain Rot Ammo Mod
    • Napalm Burst Ammo Mod

And with that, you can tick off another Easter egg discovered and unlocked in Black Ops 6! If you are on the lookout for more of such wonderfully weird easter eggs, you may want to check out our guides on the bowling alley Easter egg as well as all Aetherella figure locations in the game.
