Black Myth Wukong, like any good action game brings a lot of mechanics that help you sharpen up your character according to your playstyle and build. One such important part of any action game are passives – and Black Myth Wukong brings them into the game as ‘Relics’ . If you are looking for the full list of all Relics in Black Myth Wukong, you have come to the right place. Lets get started! Also, while no story spoilers follow, goes without saying that this article lists items that get unlocked right till the end, so consider yourself warned!
How To Unlock & Equip Relics In Black Myth Wukong
You unlock a Relic for every chapter that you progress from 1 to 5. Each such Relic has three bonuses – off which you can select any one by interacting at a Shrine and selecting Self-Advance and from there Relics to see all the available bonuses. Each of the 5 Relics correspond to the 5 senses – so, for example, the first Relic is Craving Eyes, the second one is Fuming Ears, and so on.
Relic # 1 : Craving Eyes
Bonus Name | Bonus Description |
Opportune Watcher | Considerably increases Focus gained upon consecutive successful Light Attack hits |
Eagle Eye | Upon a successful hit with Unveiling Strike, the cooldown of this spell is massively reduced |
Keen Insight | Considerably increases Critical Hit Damage |
We recommend Opportune Watcher. The increased Focus buildup helps in unleashing devastating heavy attacks; and helps a good rhythm going – get in light attacks, build up Focus and then get your heavy attack through.
Relic # 2 : Fuming Ears
Bonus Name | Bonus Description |
All Ears | Slightly increases the invincibility duration of the first move of all varied combos. |
Sound as a Bell | Narrows the window of Rock Solid deflection, but returns half the mana cost of the spell upon a Deflection. |
Whistling Wind | Temporarily increases Attack after a Perfect Dodge. |
I settled on Whistling Wind for this – the Sound as a Bell further tightened the parry window as a cost for the benefit, while the increased invincibility window did not do much for me. For someone who is more into dodging and then landing a hit; the Whistling Wind is the right Relic companion on this.
Relic # 3 : Hubris Nose
Bonus Name | Bonus Description |
Lingering Aroma | Gains a moderate Damage Bonus for a short time after casting a spell. |
In One Breath | Focus Points can be charged up to 4 within the Ring of Fire. |
Hold Breath | Moderately extends Dodge Invincibility duration. |
This is an easy recommend – Hold Breath. Anything that increases iframes in any action or souls-like games is a win. The benefits in the other two bonuses in any case are more geared towards a particular attack type.
Relic # 4 : Envious Tongue
Bonus Name | Bonus Description |
Refreshing Taste | After consuming medicine, increases the Critical Hit chance of the next attack. |
Spread the Word | Immobilize affects all enemies around the target. |
Tongue of a Connoisseur | Each equipped Soak slightly increases the health recovery of the Drink. |
Immobilize is likely to be your go-to spell, so anything that helps extend its benefit is welcome – Spread the Word went a big way in helping maintain control when attacked in groups.
Relic # 5 : Grieved Body
Bonus Name | Bonus Description |
Nimble Body | Massively reduces the Stamina cost of all charged heavy attacks. |
Everlasting Vitality | Considerably increases maximum Health. |
Divine Safeguard | Considerably increases Four Bane(burn, frost, shock and poison) resistances |
While the Nimble Body is a tempting passive, I recommend to go with Everlasting Vitality. Any bonus that helps increase health is welcome in a game like this, especially as you start approaching end game and face tougher enemies.
And that is the full list of all Black Myth Wukong Relics and their bonuses. This, along with the healing system in Black Myth Wukong go a long way in helping you survive your journey as The Destined One.
