Awaken Wine Worm #1: Chapter 1 | Black Wind Cave
Start from the Cave Interior Shrine, enter the gate, and take a left immediately to come across a set of barrels, with one of them emitting a faint golden glow. Destroy these barrels to get your first Awaken Wine Worm.
Awaken Wine Worm #2: Chapter 2 | Sandgate Village
Start from the Valley Of Despair Shrine and proceed northwards into the cave. Hug the wall on the right, jump down, continue close to the wall on your right and you will come to a lone barrel with the second Awaken Wine Worm.
Awaken Wine Worm #3: Chapter 3 | Marsh Of The White Mist
Visit Shen Monkey at the Marsh Of The White Mist location once Chapter 3 begins to purchase the third Awaken Wine Worm for 1500 Will.
Awaken Wine Worm #4: Chapter 3 | Pagoda Realm
Start from Outside The Wheel Keeper’s Shrine and keep right. Jump down onto the cliff below and then take the path with the cliffs on your left to come into an opening with a barrel containing your fourth Awaken Wine Worm.
Awaken Wine Worm #5: Chapter 3 | Valley Of Ecstasy
Start from the Longevity Road Keeper’s Shrine, turn right, and continue on the path. Go through the first gate, and just before the second gate, on the right you will see a set of barrels with the fifth Awaken Wine Worm.
Awaken Wine Worm #6: Chapter 4 | Marsh Of The White Mist
Once Chapter 4 begins, travel to Shen Monkey and purchase the sixth Awaken Wine Worm for 2500 Will.
Awaken Wine Worm #7: Chapter 4 | Webbed Hollow
Start from Estate Of The Zhu Shrine in the Village of Lanxi, take the gate on the left with the red lanterns on both sides and then immediately the one on the right with cobwebs at its entrance. You will find a set of barrels containing the seventh Awaken Wine Worm.
Awaken Wine Worm #8: Chapter 4 | Webbed Hollow
The next one is located in the Temple of Yellow Flowers; and can be accessed by starting from the Temple Entrance Shrine, taking the stairs, crossing the first building, taking a right to enter the courtyard, and again taking a left to reach the Old Man you first met in Chapter 1. Behind him will be the eighth Awaken Wine Worm.
Awaken Wine Worm #9: Chapter 4 | Purple Cloud Mountain

Start from the Petalfall Hamlet Shrine, continue taking the stairs, and enter the stone gate. Immediately on your left, you will see a narrow opening that takes you up a set of stairs to a few barrels that contain the ninth Awaken Wine Worm.
Awaken Wine Worm #10: Chapter 4 | Zodiac Village
Shen Monkey would have now moved to Zodiac Village, assuming that you have unlocked this area. You can refer our guide here in case you need help on this. He will sell you the tenth Awaken Wine Worm for 4500 Will.
Awaken Wine Worm #11: Chapter 5 | Furnace Valley
Start from the Rakshasa Palace and take the stairs till you reach the open area with a gate on your right. Take a left instead and a right to enter the building with the Old Man NPC sitting in front of a flame. On his right will be a set of barrels with the eleventh Awaken Wine Worm for you to collect.
Awaken Wine Worm #12: Chapter 5 | Bishui Cave
The final Awaken Wine Worm is located in a secret area which you need to unlock by closing the Five Element Carts quest. Once that is done, start from the Corridor of Fire and Ice and take the opening in the Ice wall visible at a distance in the right, just after the lava pool. Take a left after climbing the first set of stairs to get your twelfth and last Awaken Wine Worm in Black Myth Wukong.
