BitCraft Online is like most building games where you need to work on growing your settlement. Farming is one of the more essential professions the game has to offer, and there is a lot more to do than just growing crops. If you plan on becoming a Farmer, then you need to learn the ins and outs of the profession before you jump into it.
Farming Profession Explained in BitCraft Online

Picking up the Farming profession will help you learn how to grow and cultivate crops and plants that are used as crafting materials. This can come in especially handy if you are short on labor and are unable to gather a lot of materials in a short amount of time. Early on, farmers are seen as gatherers, and they will require a gardening hoe to get their work done around the fields.
Cooks, scholars, and tailors would be dependent on the Farmer, since they are capable of growing the raw materials required to make potions, paper, and cloth. To start your farming journey, you need to be adept at working with two particular workstations in the game.
How to Use the Farming Station

Once you have unlocked the Farming Station, you can take raw materials like plants and food wastes into the station and convert them into fertilizer. This item is important for growing new crops in the fields. Besides creating fertilizer, the Farming Station can also create final by-products from plants and crops by extracting the required materials. Working in the Farming Station is the only way that you can gain XP under the Farming profession.
How to Use the Farming Field
The farming field is where you will be spending most of your time planting and gathering your crops. First, you need to forage for seeds in nearby bushes, then take them back to the field and mix it along with the fertilizer to plant them. You can then harvest the final plant and take them to the Farming Station to extract any by-products. Using the field will not reward you with any XP, as this is a passive workstation.
Basic Farming Guide

When you first start off under the Farming profession, you have to learn how to gather wild plants, collect the seeds, and create fertilizer. The first crafting material that will be expected from you is the Rough Wispweave Filament. Just follow the steps below to obtain this material.
- Unlock the tracker under the Compendium to locate any nearby bushes that contain Wild Fiber Plants.
- You will also require Lavender to create Fertilizer, so hunt around for that as well.
- While gathering Wild Fiber Plants, make sure that you collect the seeds, since you will require them for planting at your field.
- Once you have the above two materials, head back to the Farming Station and use up your Lavender to get Basic Fertilizer.
- Combine both the fertilizer and the seeds back at your field to start growing Wispweave Plants.
- Don’t forget to water your crops and keep them in good condition throughout the growing process.
- Once they are ready, harvest your new Wispweave Plant and take it back to the Farming Station to extract Rough Wispweave Filament and Wispweave Seeds.
- You can reuse the seeds back at the field to create more plants, and the Rough Wispweave Filament can be used by the tailor to create Rough Cloth.
Later on, once you have unlocked more complicated recipes, you will be required to gather large amounts of resources. It is best to progress through the main story quests as quickly as possible so you can unlock the Cart, making it easier to transport large quantities of crafting materials back and forth.
