The world of Avowed is big on exploration, and the game rewards this with treasure in the most unlikely of places. When you first set foot at the port of Dawnshore, you can speak to the merchants around to collect rare Treasure Maps. This is true for the starting region of Dawnshore, and this guide will explain where to get treasure maps and the location each map points to in Avowed.
How To Get All Dawnshore Treasure Maps & Locations In Avowed
Dawnshore has three maps to collect and discover treasure at:
- Intimidating Feline Codpiece
- Woedica’s Inheritance
- Captain Henqua’s Spoils
Let’s look at each of these one by one
Dawnshore Treasure Map #1: Intimidating Feline Codpiece
The first of the maps that you would have collected is the Intimidating Feline Codpiece from Lynna. You can find her store at the Paradis dock market, and it will cost 100 Copper Skreyt. The map will indicate a peculiar location, which we will detail below.
This location can be a bit difficult to reach if you are just starting out, so it is best to keep exploring beyond Paradis’ main city till you reach the eastern section of the map. You would reach the Watcher’s Mirror waypoint as part of the main quest, and you can also set up a party camp at The Rise. From the Watcher’s Mirror, go around it from the outside and head south, then east. There will be a small dirt path that leads you to a breakable wooden barrier and the treasure.
Reward: Stelgaer’s Pride Medium Armor, as well as some currencies.
Dawnshore’s Treasure Map #2: Woedica’s Inheritance
The second map you would have picked up is after completing Sanza’s side quest and visiting his store in Paradis Hightown. It will take another 100 Copper Skreyt to purchase it, and once you do, you get a rough drawing of a certain location.
To find this treasure, head outside Paradis Hightown through the eastern exit and walk a bit to the south while keeping to your right. You will find a corpse that you can loot to get some nice rewards, but that isn’t the treasure that you are looking for. Rather, turn around and walk straight into the crevice of the Hightown’s wall. You will spot a secret door to the north, and a button to your right hidden behind some foliage. Press the button to get inside and get access to the treasure.
Reward: Gloves of the Strangler.
Dawnshore’s Treasure Map #3: Captain Henqua’s Spoils
The final treasure map in Dawnshore cannot be bought, you need to find it in the open world. Make your way to the southwestern section of the map, just west of Claviger’s Landing. You will come across a lighthouse, and if you make your way all the way up you will spot a skeleton. Loot the skeleton to get Captain Henqua’s Spoils treasure map.
To find the final treasure, make your way all the way north past Ivona’s Threshold. Keep to the right side and you will eventually come across the bridge portrayed in the map. Jump into the water and look west, you will spot an underwater passage that will lead you to the treasure chest.
Reward: the Wind and Wave shield (resting on a rock to the left side of the chest).
