Arknights Endfield puts a major focus on building up your units to make them as strong as possible. Thanks to the game’s timegates on important prestige resources, it’s best to plan your upgrading as much as possible.
The Endministrator is Endfield’s main character, as well as the first 6-star unit player will gain access to. The Endmin is a major physical powerhouse, utilizing their unique debuff to combo off of the vulnerabilities other physical units apply.
We’ll be going over the best way to build your Endministrator to keep them relevant throughout the early game, optimizing your clears and story progress. Get ready for your first steps onto Talos-II
Skill Leveling Priority

As a Physical Damage Guard, Endministrator can easily act as a keystone for a decent Physical team, especially early on. Their strength is centered around their Battle Skill and Combo Skill, amplified with their Ultimate.
Endministrator’s Battle Skill has them summon a burst of Originium that deals damage and applies Crush. Crush applies a Vulnerability to the enemy hit. If the enemy is already Vulnerable, Crush instead pops all Vulnerability stacks to deal massive Physical damage.
In turn, Endmin’s Combo Skill seals the enemy and deals Physical damage whenever another party member uses a Combo Skill. If anyone applies Vulnerability or a Physical Status to the sealed enemy, the seal is consumed for extra damage.

Endministrator’s Ultimate is a massive Physical Damage nuke that fans out in front of them. If the enemy has Originium Crystals, the Ult consumes them for an extra burst of damage.
The Endministrator is likely to be your best damage dealing option in the early game, making it crucial to keep them well-rounded and generally strong.
Once you start upgrading Endmin through the Elite tiers, focus on keeping their basic combo, Battle Skill, and Combo Skill up to date. Their Ultimate is a nice burst of extra damage, but the consistent damage provided by general upgrades will keep you going much longer.

Early Gear

Weapons and Gear can do wonders to solidify a team, and it’s no different in Endfield. As an Agility-based Sword character, Endmin has plenty of strong options. The two standouts you’re sure to find early are Contingent Measure and Sundering Steel.
Contingent Measure is a four-star Agility sword granted during one of the game’s tutorial missions, granting a small boost to Agility, Physical Damage, and a short damage buff whenever the user activates their Battle Skill. Simple and effective, Contingent Measure can easily work for a good chunk of the early game.

Meanwhile, Sundering Steel is a five-star Agility sword that can be earned by completing Node missions that task players with engaging with some of Endfield’s smaller mechanics. The stats are the important part here, offering a larger Agility and Damage boost than Contingent Measure. Its unique that grants a stackable damage buff whenever the user deals a Physical Status, Endministrator’s specialty.
The rest of your gear is less important, especially early. Keep Endmin’s Armor and Kits up to date with the latest you can build, and you’ll be more than hardy enough for whatever comes your way.
Early Team Building

While progressing through early content, you’ll be forced to work with whatever units you can muster from your free pulls. Luckily, plenty of early units synergize beautifully with Endministrator.
Both Chen Qianyu and Perlica, characters given to you right after Endmin, are easy slot-ins.
Chen’s Combo Skill procs whenever an enemy is made Vulnerable, lifting them into the air and adding more Vulnerability to pop. Her Battle Skill does the same, making her stellar at setting up damage for Endmin.
Perlica’s synergy stems almost entirely from her Combo Skill, proccing whenever you finish a combo. This allows Perlica to constantly bombard the battlefield with lightning, giving the team some extra AOE coverage.
For a fourth, I found a lot of use in the early game with Catcher, a four-star Physical Damage Tank. His Basic Attacks are nothing special, but his shields and debuffs help minimize incoming damage, a massive boon when you’re still learning the ropes.
Catcher’s Battle Skill is a long-lasting parry that grants Protection to allies and immediately refunds a portion of the SP spent. If an enemy hits the shield, Catcher bashes them and applies a stack of Vulnerability, helping to start the combo for Endmin. His Ultimate also Knocks Down enemies, dragging them to the floor while applying Vulnerable.

Each of these units are ones you’re all but guaranteed to have in spades, and each adds to Endministrator’s kit to make them as effective as possible.
