One of the earlier quests you can complete in ARC Raiders is the “With A Trace” quest, which requires you to investigate a wrecakge on the Blue Gate map. Since this map is full of wreckage and destruction, it might get confusing for players to locate the required wreckage, since it’s not marked on the map. However, with this guide, you’ll easily find and investigate the truth behind the wreckage in ARC Raiders.
How to Complete the “With A Trace” Quest
To complete the “With A Trace” quest in ARC Raiders, you need to invesitgate a wreckage and inspect a communications device. Here’s what you must do:
- Find signs of who brought down the ARC Machines at the Barren Clearing in the Blue Gate map.
- Investigate the adorned wreckage near the Trapper’s Glade.
- Inspect the communications device near the adorned wreckage.
Make sure to gear up before this quest, since you may face rival Raiders or ARCs on your way to these locations.
Find Signs of Who Brought Down the ARC Machines
The first objective of “With A Trace” quest in ARC Raiders is to find out who brought down the ARC Machines at the Barren Clearing in the Blue Gate map. The Barren Clearing is located to the west of Raider’s Refuge in The Forest area, as shown in the image above. Once you’re there, look for a spherical device in the wreckage.
When you’ve found the grey, spherical device amidst all the wreckage, you need to interact with it to investigate the object. This is the first sign of the one who brought down the ARC Machines. It will take a few seconds to investigate, and once you’re done with the process, you need to head to the next objective.
Inspect the Adorned Wreckage
The next objective is inspecting the Adorned Wreckage, located to the south of the Barren Clearing, near the Trapper’s Glade in ARC Raiders. This location will be marked on your map once you have completed investigating the spherical device at the Barren Clearing.
Head to this location to find a large structure, which is the adorned wreckage you need to inspect for this quest. All you have to do is get close to this capsule-shaped structure to complete this objective. You can climb this wreckage to find a weapon case and some loot before you move on to the final objective required for the “With A Trace” quest.
Inspect the Communications Device
The final objective for the “With A Trace” quest in ARC Raiders is inspecting the communications device near the adorned wreckage. From the capsule-shaped wreckage, drop down below and look for the communications device, located around the wreckage. It sports a bright yellow color, so it will be hard to miss. Once you’ve located the device, inspect it to complete the “With A Trace” quest.
