The Snap and Salvage mission requires us to complete four specific objectives. While two of them need to be tracked down to a specific location, the other two objectives have RNG attached to them. Here, we will take a look at all the objectives of Snap and Salvage in Arc Raiders and how to complete all of them.
Snap and Salvage Overview
The quest contains four objectives, each located in a different area of the map.
- Objective #1: Take a photo of any of the rovers in the Sandbox.
- Objective #2: Search the papers in the Security Checkpoint room by the Lobby.
- Objective #3: Deliver a Magnetron to the Tian Wen.
- Objective #4: Deliver a Flow Controller to Tian Wen.
#1. Take a photo of any of the rovers in the Sandbox
The rover is located at the Robotic Sandbox area in the southeast corner of the Loading Bay region.
Make your way to the south of the Loading Bay area, right of Medical Research. At the southeast corner of Loding Bay, near Cargo Dock B. You are likely to have searched this area for the J Kozma Ventures container for the earlier quest. You will find two open elevators with no elevators inside. Instead, you need to go down the zipline to reach the bottom floor.
Once you have reached the lower floor, turn right, open the door, and on your right, you will see a locked door with the word Robotic Sandbox written on its left. Open the door and get inside, and you will find the rover in a sandbox. Get close, and you will get the prompt to take a picture.
#2. Search the papers in the Security Checkpoint room by the Lobby
The papers will be found on the reception desk at the Security Checkpoint in the Lobby.
Head to the Security Bridge in the middle of the Lobby area. Here, head right, get through the Security Restricted Access doorway. Then turn right and you will find the papers on the desk next to the computer. Interact with the papers to complete the objective.
#3. Deliver a Magnetron to Tian Wen
Magnetron is an RNG item drop, so make sure ot loot everything you see to get this one. I have marked the location where I found one. Exactly behind this is another medical drawer (it is not clearly visible in the image above, but you will know it when you see it); many players have reported that also as one of the locations with a high probability of finding the Magnetron.
#4. Deliver a Flow Controller to Tian Wen
Same as Magnetron, the Flow Controller also has an RNG system attached to it; the only way to find this item is by searching everything in the area. The best locations to search for the Flow Controller are the Medical Research Area. Although I found mine in one of the desks in the lobby, just above the closed Security Checkpoint area. When you take the stairs on the left of this door to the floor above, you will see two doors that thankfully don’t need any keys. The one on the right is where I got the Flow Controller.
