The Surveyor Vault is an incredibly rare item with random spawn locations in ARC Raiders. They can only be obtained either by destroying Surveyor ARCs or breaching ARC Couriers around the map. Since their spawn location is random, it’s tough to determine a specific spot where they can be found. However, this guide will easily help you in obtaining this item in the game.
Destroy Surveyors Around the Map
To get Surveyor Vaults in ARC Raiders, you need to destroy Surveyor ARCs around the map. Launch a Raid on the Blue Gate map. Then, look out for a blue beam projected into the sky; this means that the Surveyor is patrolling that area.
You can find Surveyor Vaults on other maps by locating the blue beam projected into the sky as well. Gain some high ground, and look out for the beam whenever you can. Once you find it, head to that location, geared up with either the Showstopper or the Wolfpack grenade and a powerful weapon. These Surveyor ARCs are mechanical balls that roll at you when they spot you.
Throw the Showstopper or the Wolfpack to stagger it for a few seconds, and unload your weapon before it can attack you. Dodge if you see them rolling towards you. Destroy the Surveyor, and keep an eye out for other players trying to do the same. After the Surveyor is destroyed, loot it to obtain Surveyor Vaults.
Find ARC Couriers Around the Map
The second way to obtain Surveyor Vaults is to breach ARC Couriers around the map in ARC Raiders. Launch an expedition on the Dam Battlegrounds map to find this ARC device. You’ll come across them as a part of the “A Bad Feeling” quest. These ARC Couriers have no specific spawn locations, so you have to rely on audio and visual cues to locate them.
The Hydroponic Dome Complex is your best bet to find the ARC Courier. However, if you’re looking for this device in other locations, look for smoke throughout the map. The ARC Couriers have a distinct design, which makes them easier to locate, along with the smoke trail. Once you’ve located it, you need to breach it to obtain a Surveyor Vault.
Currently, these are the only ways to get a Surveyor Vault in ARC Raiders. The rarity of this material makes it difficult to obtain, so it will take some time before you have it.
