One of the unique archetypes in Metaphor: ReFantazio is the Masked Dancer, unlike others, the Masked Dancer can equip different masks to inherit new skills from other archetypes. Using different elemental attacks from another archetype by using the mask is a wild concept, but in Metaphor: ReFantazio all of this is possible to execute but only with Masked Dancer. How To Unlock Masked Dancer Archetype In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Once the fifth member joins your squad you will unlock Masked Dancer Archetype in Metaphor ReFantazio.
Before you start thinking about Masks and Mask Materials, the first objective you should tackle is to unlock the Masked Dancer Archetype. It will happen when you bond with Junah.
How To Craft Masks In Metaphor: ReFantazio
We can craft Masks from the Special Experiment section via Akademia.
Once Junah joins your party, you can visit Akademia. Here our friend More will explain the experiment process behind masks. Here is how you can craft a mask in Metaphor ReFantazio.
- Go to Akademia.
- Head to the Special Experiments section.
- Here you will see a list of masks for all available Archetypes.
- You will see the Mask Material requirements for each mask on the right panel.
- Once you have both Mask Materials (usually two) for a mask, then you can confirm the experiment to create a fresh mask to wear for the archetype.
Note: The Mask Materials are also referred to as Masks, so it can get pretty confusing. We have created a table for all the masks and their material list to help you separate them easily.
Remember, once you craft a mask, it can’t be undone. So always do research behind the mask before hitting confirm. You will need to unlock an Archetype first if you want to create their mask for Masked Dancer.
Masks here are only usable for Masked Dancer Archetypes: Masked Dancer, Persona Master, and Royal Masked Dancer.
How To Wear Masks in Metaphor: ReFantazio
We can equip or change the masks through the accessories slot for Junah.
When Junah joins your squad, she will have the Seeker Mask equipped. Once you start crafting more interesting Masks for the Archetype, you can replace the Seeker Mask with the new one by going through her Accessories slot.
The Archetype of the Mask allows the Masked Dancer to use abilities associated with that Archetype. The Masked Dancer will also inherit the weaknesses and the resistances of the archetype whose mask is currently equipped. However, the Synthesis skill will continue to remain that of the Masked Dancer, irrespective of the equipped Mask.
Different Mask offers different skill sets, one might offer to steal, and equipping it will allow the Masked Dancer to steal.
Where To Get The Materials To Craft Masks In Metaphor: ReFantazio?
We can easily get Mask Materials by defeating or stealing from enemies and buying from Eugief Merchant. Add in the Lucky Find skill, you will gain a 20% chance to find more items from combat.
If beating down enemies until you see a mask falling from their body isn’t your thing, you can buy it from many shops around the game.
How To Unlock Shop To Purchase Masks In Metaphor: ReFantazio
We must buy intel from an informant to unlock Eugief Mask Shop in the game.
- Head to Port Brilehaven, Seabreeze Street, here talk to Eugief merchant. Memorize his spot.
- We will come back to him after you reach Virga Island in the game, Once you are on the island, make your first stop at Golden Deer Hearth Tavern. Inside the inn, you will find an informant, buy the Secret of The Eugief’s Stall for a whopping 1,000 Reeve.
- Head back to Eugief to buy the Mask Material from him. The stock of Masks changes with Days.
Pro Tip: The seller Eugief only sells one mask a day, so if you are lacking Mask Materials to create masks, make sure to get the one you need, don’t rush to purchase or you will have to entire day to get the proper one.
