The quest log for Dragon Age: The Veilguard is extensive, and there are lots of exploration points to discover. The game also introduces puzzles to solve this time around, and a few have achievements that unlock on solving them, and The Lighthouse puzzle is one such puzzle that you come across in the game.

In this guide we will help you solve the Lighthouse puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard and unlock the Nostalgia Trip trophy.

How To Solve The Lighthouse Puzzle In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

The Lighthouse Puzzle consists of finding three sets of statues and making them face each other, and a final Music Room puzzle that you can only solve once you have progressed in the main quest to Chapter 7. The Lighthouse is going to be your base while playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard. To start the puzzle, you need to find a strange note located near the first statue puzzle. Let’s go through the location of the note and how to solve all the statue puzzles.

    Lighthouse Statue Puzzle Solution

For the first set of statues, head up the stairs on the northwest that leads above the Library, and you will find two statues facing away from each other. At the base of one of the statues is a Mysterious Note you can read. To solve the puzzle, turn the handles at the base of the statues and make them face each other.

The second set of statues can be found on the north side of the Lighthouse map, just behind Neve’s and Bellara’s Rooms (the Workshop and the Guesthouse). Jump off the tower you were previously in and make your way north. Hidden behind the building is the next statue, turn the handle to make it look east. You can spot the second statue right across from where you are. Run around and head over to the other side and turn the second statue to the west so the two statues face each other.

The final set of statues are found southeast and southwest. Again, explore the area behind the building in the southeast and turn the statue to the west. Then, run southwest and head up the stairs to find the last statue and turn it east. If done correctly, the Music Room within the Library will be unlocked, but there won’t be anything inside to do just yet.

    Lighthouse Music Room Puzzle Solution

The Music Room puzzle is unlocked after completing Chapter 7 – Where the Dead Must Go main story quest. After that, when you enter the music room, you will spot a wisp floating around near the piano. You will also spot another door and two pedestals near it.

Place the first wisp on the pedestal, then find the second wisp on the library’s roof. Exit the library and head up the stairs on the left side. Follow the path towards the first statue puzzle location to find the second wisp. After placing both wisps on the pedestal, the portal will open up. Enter it to get to the Library Balcony secret area.

Nostalgia Trip Trophy/Achievement Dragon Age: The Veilguard

To get the achievement, explore the library balcony and you will find a blue stone on your left. Activate the stone and a brief cutscene will play out. After that, jump over the railing and land below to get the Nostalgia Trip achievement/ trophy.

Also check out a similar quest that requires you to find Powerstones to power the door in a sidequest In Entropy’s Grasp in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
