One of the optional yet significant side quests in Tainted Grail is “Brothers In Arms,” which tasks players with collecting 13 Keeper Tags scattered across Avalon. These tags are remnants of fallen Keepers, knights who once stood as protectors of the realm.
This article provides a guide on how to find all Keeper Tags in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon and complete the Brothers In Arms Quest.
Brothers In Arms: All Keeper Tag Locations

To officially start the quest, simply collect any one Keeper Tag and return it to Fearghas, the quartermaster stationed at the Keep. This will trigger the quest and begin your journey to recover the rest of the tags.
Here is a list of all 13 Keeper Tags and their locations that you must find to complete the Brothers In Arms quest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon:
- Ninian – Island Asylum
Found deep inside the Island Asylum, in the medical lab area. Ninian is strapped to a table in a disturbing experiment chamber. When you interact with him, a short scene plays out and you must defeat him. Loot his corpse afterward to obtain the tag. - Pate – Keep Wall
Pate is located atop the Keep’s outer wall. Speak to him and read the letter in your possession aloud. After hearing it, he will jump off the wall. To retrieve the tag, climb down to the base of the wall and find his body lying below. - Near Fingerless Colm – Bandit Camp
Travel to a nearby bandit camp where Fingerless Colm is found. You don’t need to kill Colm to get the tag—the Keeper Tag is located near his camp, likely next to a crate or skeleton along the path near the campfire. - Below King’s Road Bridge
Head to the stone bridge on King’s Road. Drop carefully down to the riverbed underneath the bridge. The tag is located next to a large boulder by the water’s edge. It’s easy to miss due to the natural overgrowth, so scan the ground closely. - Sunken Village – First Building
Enter the Sunken Village and explore the outskirts where partially submerged ruins can be found. In the first dilapidated building you come across, check the floor and rubble near a collapsed wall. The tag is often lying near a table or a skeleton. - Sunken Village – Second Building
Venture deeper into the village and enter a more intact building. Head to the back room or second floor (if accessible), and look around crates, shelves, or broken beds. The tag is hidden among the debris, requiring careful observation. - Redcap Hut
North of the Sunken Village is a small hut overrun by redcap enemies. Eliminate them, then search the interior of the hut. The tag is usually found on a table or beside a skeleton inside, tucked near other scattered personal items. - Outside Flooded Mine
Arrive at the Flooded Mine entrance and inspect the area just outside. The tag can be found near some old supplies, next to rocks, or a lantern. It might be partially hidden in foliage or behind objects near the cave entrance. - Inside Flooded Mine
Make your way through the Flooded Mine until you approach the area near the boss chamber. Just before reaching the final fight, you’ll see a small wooden bridge. Jump into the water below it and look closely—there’s a sunken skeleton with the tag next to it. - Left of Lighthouse Entrance
At the entrance to the Lighthouse, instead of going inside, walk to the left along the cliffside. Follow the narrow path along the rocks and you’ll come across a corpse resting against the cliff wall. The tag is next to the body. - Ravine Between Keep and Village
Between the Keep and a nearby village is a narrow ravine accessible via a side path. Climb down carefully and explore the ravine floor. The tag is found near a fallen knight’s body, surrounded by some old gear and possibly hidden in brush. - Ancient Crypt – Side Tunnel
In the Ancient Crypt, after defeating the necromancer boss, look directly across the room from where you fought him. There is a dark tunnel you can enter. Follow it to the end and you’ll find a skeleton in a small dead-end chamber. The tag is lying next to the bones. - Camp Near Starting Beach
Near the starting beach where you first wake up in the game, head back inland toward a ruined camp. Look for signs of an old firepit and broken crates. The tag is lying on the ground next to this campfire area, often obscured by grass or debris.

After collecting all 13 Keeper Tags, return to Fearghas at the Keep to hand them in. You will be rewarded with 100 coins for each tag, totaling 1,300 coins, and you’ll unlock the “Honor Over Life” achievement. It’s recommended that you turn in all the tags at once, as handing them over one at a time may cause a bug that prevents the quest from completing properly.
