As you go around helping people from the town and building your farm, you’ll be able to unlock new biomes in Luma Island. These biomes come with new quests and mysteries that will get harder the more you progress further.
One of these quests involves collecting “Offering Crystals” spread throughout the map and offering them at the shrine’s pedestals. Each biome has its own set of crystals that have to be collected. Here’s a detailed guide on locating all 10 Forest Crystals and unlocking treasure chests in this biome.
Forest Crystal #1
Start near the waterfall in the Southwestern region of the forest map. This crystal’s pretty easy to come by as it won’t be hidden by any trees or logs. Once near the waterfall, cross the rock bridge on the right and go around the edge of the pond. After you’re almost at its end, go down and you’ll see a forest crystal at the left side of the cliff.
Forest Crystal #2
For the second forest offering crystal, head towards the cave on the Western side of the map. From the entrance of the cave, go towards the left path. The crystal is nestled in a corner under the Rocky arch.
Forest Crystal #3
This crystal can be found near the riverside on the Southern side of the map. Once there, cross over to the left side using the log bridge. Then follow the edge of the river until you see pillars with blue orbs on them on the left. Go up to the first pillar and then head left on the edge of the mountain. The crystal will be floating on the edge near the waterfall.
Forest Crystal #4
For this crystal, head over to the lake that’s right below the center of the map. It’s very close to the previous Forest Crystal, so just go towards the right after coming down. Going right might confuse you, as the path is hidden by trees. As you keep going right you’ll see one of those blue orb pillars high up on a mountain again. Go from below this mountain towards the center, and then take right. The crystal is on a higher area, so build a ladder and get on the top to obtain it.
Forest Crystal #5
The fifth crystal is close by too. It lies more towards the south, so from the previous location, head towards the right and then take a left when you see a huge boulder in the way. You’ll come across a stone structure, just go behind it. There will be a crystal floating near two barrels.
Forest Crystal #6
For this crystal, go to the northern center of the map, where a log bridge is present with a pond on the left. Follow the edge of the pond and then take a right. You’ll have to go under the stone formation to find the crystal.
Forest Crystal #7
The 7th crystal is found near the pond that lies on the northern side. Go up to the pond and follow its edge until you see a crystal near the corner. It will be between the walls of stone.
Forest Crystal #8
For this crystal, go over to the eastern side of the map (near the shrine), where you’ll be offering the crystals later. Go towards the right of the shrine and then go under the huge tree. You’ll have to chop down some wood to reveal the crystal that’s hiding beneath these trees.
Forest Crystal #9
The next crystal lies north of the previous location, where you’ll see a well in the middle of the path. Follow this road and then go right to see the crystal floating in the open.
Forest Crystal #10
This crystal can be found on the easternmost corner of the map. Once you’re near the beach shore, go south towards the cave entrance. The crystal is located on the top, on the right side of the cave. Build the ladder and go to the top to collect this Forest offering crystal.
Where To Use The Forest Offering Crystals In Luma Island
Once you have all the crystals in your inventory, head over to the Forest shrine which is on the Eastern side of the map. Start placing the green offering crystals into each stone structure. After you’ve placed all of the mystical crystals, you’ll see an opening animation of the shrine’s gate.
Go inside and take the Ancient book, which will help you unlock new items for your farm. There will also be a yellow and a purple chest. These will reward you with the following items:

Both the Ancient books and the Mysterious Eggs are random, so if you get something you don’t like, you can restart it until you get the ones you want. Once incubated, the eggs give birth to a creature known as Luma, who will help you around at your farm and during explorations.
