In Cronos: The New Dawn, you need to survive the unknown as you forge your destiny between the past and future. Survival is your main goal; hence, you need to collect weapons to aid you in your task. There are 7 weapons to collect around the region, and this guide will help you locate them all.
All Weapon Locations in Cronos The New Dawn
In Cronos: The New Dawn, you start with a basic pistol, but thankfully, the game places several powerful weapons for you to survive and get through the horrors that are thrown at you. We have the locations for all, as well as what we think are the best weapons for end game.
7. Sword MK-1615

How To Get: Obtained at the very start of the game.
At the very start of the game, this weapon will prove its worth. But as you keep playing, you would find that the Sword isn’t as fast as you thought it would be. It takes a while to reload and charge the gun, and if enemies are on your back, this can be troublesome. Still, with the right upgrades, the Sword does have potential to even be carried to the endgame.
6. Lance REV-1411

How to Get: Safe Room in Cemetery, The Abbey. Head into the Cemetery and collect the Rusty Key from the cat. Use the key in Father Wojciech’s Office. Collect the Bell Tower Key from within, then head up to the Bell Tower located above the Cemetery to get the weapon.
This is a dual-burst weapon, and it takes a while between each shot to eject bullets. Since you get to pump out only three rounds at a time, this isn’t very feasible to own in the long run. Since the charge times between each round are quite long, you end up being a sitting duck, putting your life at risk while enemies are about.
5. Arbalest MT-1020

How to Get: Save Station: Station B Outpost. Unlock the Toy Store by obtaining the key from the cat inside the Kiosk room.
The Arbalest looks great on paper and has an explosive AoE, but the charge time is again an issue here. Since it is a rocket launcher, the longer wait time is to be expected. Plus, with limited ammo, you need to prioritize who you want to beat with the Arbalest. If you wish to clear out larger enemy hoards or tankier enemies with a single shot, then you need to pick up this weapon at all costs.
4. Mace JER-5120

How to Get: Unity Hospital. Enter the Hospital Chapel and interact with the Altar to solve a puzzle. Collect the Chalice from the Director’s Office on the second floor and Vasculum from the Operations Block in Wing B. Return to the Chapel and place the items to get the Chapel Backroom Key, to be used on the door nearby, and get the weapon.
The spread attack of the Mace is great for tackling multiple enemies, especially if they are quite weak. You just need to keep the reload time in mind, since you get to only use it for two rounds before you need to reload. If this isn’t an issue, then you do get really great damage with this gun, and it is a possibility to be used in your weapon roster for mid-game.
3. Hammer PROV-2030

How to Get: Quarantined Building. After the introduction to the Time Oddity manipulation, and while heading to Sector D-3 Housing Project
The Hammer is the single-shotgun variant of the Mace, but performs better than the Mace. This weapon is great for singular enemies, but also offers a little burst to hit nearby enemies. When charged up, you get a wider spread, which is great for clearing the immediate area in front of you. You get to use it for three rounds before needing to reload.
2. Dagger PS-3713

How to Get: The Isolation Zone. In the Steelworks area’s trainyard section is a safe room with the Travelog: Changing Priority. This area is located just before you obtain the Grav Boots
If you really like the durability of pistols but don’t want to use the Sword, then the Dagger is the next best weapon to use. Since this is an automatic pistol, you get more shots that are also extremely precise. It is also more stable, helping you shoot down singular targets with ease. This weapon is used both ways: either charged up to fire bullets simultaneously, or press the trigger to release singular bullets.
1. Javelin LK-102

How to Get: A-0 Gate, The Hospital Zone. Just cross the entrance to step into the safe room with the weapon.
Besides the high damage offered by the Javelin, this carbine weapon also has the shortest reload time of all weapons. The only thing to keep in mind is the stability, but you could overcome that as you get better with your aim. While this doesn’t reach targets at a distance, for mid to close range, this weapon should be your go-to.
Cronos: The New Dawn is challenging even with these weapons, hence why you should check out our guides on 10 Best Tips To Survive and All Chapter 1 Collectibles to know more.
