Since loot of any kind is the life and blood of any RPG game, missing out on any of them can impact the gameplay while at the same time, it will create the feeling of missing something important in the game. List of All Chest Locations in Treviso Canals in Dragon Age Veilguard
There are thirteen treasure chests hidden throughout Treviso Canals. Two of them are tied to quests, while others require companion skills to open the route to them. Here, we will go through all the chests located in Treviso and their requirements.
Chest Location #1
Location: Crow’s Road Rooftops, Treviso Canals
Reward: Antivan Parade Helm
Travel to the beacon west of the Crow’s Road Rooftops. Once you are in the location, move straight until you reach the zipline. Take it to reach the rooftops on the other side. Jump down the ladder on the right, then shimmy along the ledge next to the statue. Drop down from the floor on the right, you will find your first treasure chest.
Chest Location #2
Location: Heart and Central, Treviso Canals
Reward: Orchestrator’s Long Coat
Travel to the beacon northwest of the Heart and Central. Climb the garden trellis next to the beacon to get to the top. Here take the ladder to the right, now just drop down from the rooftops on the left and you will find the second chest in the corner of the room.
Chest Locations #3, #4 & #5
Location: Streets of Coin Financials
Reward: Recruit’s Simple Tunic (Chest #3 Reward)/ Crow’s Bill (Chest #4 Reward)/ Antivan Rapier (Chest #5 Reward)
Ability Requirement: Eternal Hymn
Travel to the beacon east of Streets of Coin Financials. Here, we can cross three chests off our list.
Chest #3
The first chest is located in the room on the left of the beacon
Chest #4
- Get out of the room where we found our first chest, take a right turn, and then take the bridge on the left. The icon for the chest will point to your right, but take the stairs on the left to enter the building.
- Go to the end of the hallway, turn right, and enter the room. There will be a battle. After the combat, you will find the chest hiding behind the wall on the right of the room.
Chest #5
- Travel back to the original beacon point where we started, here will take the route south of the map. From the beacon, start moving to the left and then turn right, keep heading straight. Take the stairs on the left to get near the water, and lift up the blocks from the water using the ability Eternal Hymn.
- Jump on the platforms to get to the building upfront, and open the door right of the building to find our third chest.
Chest Locations #6 & #7
Location: The Drowned District, Treviso Canals
Rewards: Rialto, Crow’s Bill
Required Ability: Spite’s Reach
Here we will cover two chests since both of them are in the Drowned District.
Chest #6
- Travel to the beacon southwest end of The Drowned District, and take the ladder to the left of the beacon. climb the small window on the left.
- Head straight, take a left, and then right. Here you will see a small room blocked by wooden panels. Roll through the barricade to break them. Once inside, take the ladder next to the wall. That’s it, you will find your sixth treasure chest here.
Chest #7
- Travel back to the beacon at The Drowned District, turn around get on the wooden walkway, and then turn left, after a bit of walk, take the path on the right and climb on the house. Here you use the Spite’s Reach to create a hand to help us get across the area without touching the water.
- Use the hand to get across the building on the side, here jump through the broken ceiling to drop right next to the treasure chest.
Chest Locations #8, #9 & #10
Location: The Drowned District, Treviso Canals
Reward: Butcher’s Screw, Corvid Calling Mask, Reinforced Longbow
Ability Requirement: Eternal Hymn and Veil Instability
Travel to the beacon northeast of the Drowned District, basically the beacon west of the previous beacon location.
Chest #8
- From the beacon take left, pass the cart, and go through the doorway. Now head down the stairs, and take a hard left from the brazier next to the archway on the left. Go through the doorway to get to the room with our first chest.
Note: Don’t stay close when the open animation kicks in, it will release a poison gas.
Chest #9
- Get out of the room (with the first chest), take the doorway on the left, then another left through the wooden barricade. Once you are in the open area with NPCs sprawling around, open the closed door to the right.
- Climb up the stairs to get to the new location. Here make your way to the water section on the right. Since we can’t swim in the water, we have to lift up the blocks from the water to use them as a platform. Use Eternal Hymn to lift up the blocks from the water and start doing some platforming to safely reach the other side.
- On the last platform, you will find your second chest.
Chest #10
- From the second treasure chest, make your way back to the land by jumping off the platform we lifted up with Eternal Hymn. Get up the stairs, and take a left turn until you reach the edge. Look up and use the Veil Instability to create a hand for us to act as a passageway to reach the other side.
- Follow the linear path here to get to the room with the chest.
Chest Location #11
Location: The Drowned District, Treviso Canals
Requirement: Dragon Hunter, Ignite Skill
Puzzle: Light Four Braziers
Reward: Tusk of Glory
Ability Requirement: Ignite
From the beacon northeast of the Drowned District, take the doorway on the left next to the cart, climb down the stairs, and take the route left and then another left to reach an open area with the chest. But it is locked behind a puzzle.
Puzzle: Our objective here is to light up four braziers in this arena to open the door to the chest.
First Brazier Location: The first brazier will be on the ground next to the door on the left of the arena. Use your Ignite skill to light the brazier.
If you look at the lamp on the top of the brazier, it will also light up emitting the color green. There are four of these we need to light up to open the gate.
Second Brazier Location: Climb on the garden trellis left of the first Brazier. Take the first doorway on the left blocked by some wooden panels, but nothing a simple roll can’t break. Once inside, break another set of wooden boards covering the brazier in the corner, and bingo we have two braziers lit up.
Third Brazier Location: Get out of the room, turn left, and you will find the third Brazier at the corner of the wooden scaffolding.
Fourth Brazier Location: From the scaffolding, jump on the ceiling to the left. Another jump to the platform and then walk across the beam to reach the fourth and final brazier in the area.
Chest Location #12
Location: Heart and Central, Treviso Canals
Quest: Statuary, Fine Art and Antaam
Reward: The Mage Killer
You will get the quest from a note sitting on the crates right across from Viago and Teia in the Cantori Diamond.
- Now travel to Heart and Central. Here take left from the beacon until you reach the large barrels. Here turn right and take the stairs down in the front.
- In another right turn, you will see an open doorway on the right, you will also find a couple of paintings next to the doorway signaling the art location.
Head inside the room, Use the Lyrium Dagger to dispel the wall to reveal the hidden room containing the treasure.
Chest Location #13
Location: Grande Markets, Treviso Canals
Quest: Bloodbath Lucanis Companion Quest
Reward: Orchestrator’s Long Coat
You will find the chest during the Bloodbath quest. Or you can always come to the spot later on to grab the reward. So if you missed the chest during the Bloodbath quest, just follow the steps below.
- Travel to the beacon down at Grande Markets, take the route left of the beacon, get into the market area, here take the stairs north of the market, and then turn left. This will put you in a garden area with a statue in the middle.
- If you look to your right, you will see a couple of crates with a green vase next to it. Climb up on the crates to reach the ledge above. Once you are in the building, take the stairs upfront and then turn immediately left in the next room, break the boxes to reach the balcony.
- Now you will just have to follow a linear path, you will eventually come across a closed door on the right wall, and open it to cross out the last treasure chest on the Treviso.
