Surviving in 7 Days to Die requires more than weapons and supplies; you also need a secure place to take shelter. On the Navezgane map, some of the best locations are hidden underground in bunkers and basements.

While focusing on towns and surface points of interest is nice, the real loot can be found in these hidden areas underground. This article will list the 10 best bunkers that you can find on the Navegane map in 7 Days To Die.

7 Days To Die: 10 Best Bunker Locations on the Navezgane Map

Here are the top Bunkers that you can find on the Navezgane map in 7 Days To Die:

    1) Bart’s Salvage

    Coordinates: 1176 W and 114 S
    Biome: Burnt Forest

Bart’s Salvage has one of the largest underground bunkers in the game. Players can enter through a hatch at the back or dig up the metal flooring inside the main building to reveal stairs that will lead you underground.

This bunker has multiple levels and contains great loot. However, it’s full of zombies, so be prepared with strong weapons, healing items, and ideally some backup before attempting to clear it out.

    2) New Life Hope Cabin

    Coordinates: 1496 W and 95 S
    Biome: Pine Forest

Just west of Bart’s Salvage, the New Life Hope Cabin has a more beginner-friendly underground area. The cave system underneath can be accessed through a well hatch, a ladder in the garage, or a collapsing floor in the main building.

You’ll fall into an underground water-filled cave. While it’s not the best for a permanent base, it can be a decent mining spot or a temporary resting area.

    3) Hidden Hollow

    Coordinates: 2162 W and 723 N
    Biome: Pine Forest

The next best bunker location in the Navezgane map is easy to miss. With no road leading to it and only a car marking its location, the area conceals a small hatch behind some bushes. This hatch leads to a compact bunker ideal for early-game players.

There are just a couple of zombies inside, making it easy to clear. It’s isolated and free of surface structures, so it’s perfect for building a defensive fortress around.

    4) Prepper’s Den

    Coordinates: 1392 W | 2029 S
    Biome: Wasteland

Prepper’s Den is a small bunker found in the Wasteland. It’s hidden in the rubble and can be accessed through a hatch. The bunker only contains one or two zombies, so it’s easy to clear out this bunker.

However, it’s very small and not ideal for a base. The wasteland biome also spawns dangerous enemies, making this spot better suited for a quick loot run rather than long-term shelter.

    5) Canyon Mine

    Coordinates: 702 E and 1236 S
    Biome: Desert

Located near Trader Bob in the desert, Canyon Mine is a large underground mining complex. It’s packed with loot and valuable resources like oil shale. Players can enter through a breakable floor inside the building or from entrances in the canyon beside it.

There are many enemies inside, so come prepared. This mine is useful for both looting and resource gathering, especially for crafting fuel.

    Coordinates: 1034 W and 1760 S
    Biome: Wasteland

Aranea Caverns is a deep and dangerous cave system located south of Trader Joel. It’s filled with good loot and ore, but also crawling with zombies. The cave walls aren’t well reinforced, so it’s not ideal for a base.

However, for experienced players, this location offers both a challenge and a reward. It’s a must-visit for those looking for a more intense underground experience.

    7) Rotten Cavern

    Coordinates: 1486 W and 742 S
    Biome: Wasteland

This massive network of underground tunnels is one of the most dangerous bunker-type locations in Navezgane. Rotten Cavern is filled with high-level zombies and can be extremely easy to get lost in.

Bring plenty of torches or place blocks to mark your path. Despite the dangers, it has rich ore nodes and plenty of loot, especially in its lower levels. You should only venture here if you’re well-equipped and prepared for a serious fight.

    Coordinates: 2108 W and 2108 N
    Biome: Snow

While Journey’s End doesn’t have a traditional bunker, it does feature a well-built basement that functions like one. Its basement is secure, well-decorated, and easy to convert into a base.

The vantage point from the mountain provides excellent visibility, making it a strategic spot during blood moon hordes. The enemies here aren’t too tough, making it a viable option for mid-game players.

    9) House on the Hill

    Coordinates: 770 E and1563 N
    Biome: Forest

This location hides a solid underground bunker. Right next to the house’s main entrance, you can break the floor under the balcony to access a hatch that leads directly into the bunker.

Inside, players will find a Hardened Chest, medical supplies, ammo piles, and a weapons bag. The room is compact and easy to secure. There’s also a library on the upper floor, which can be accessed by using wood frames to reach the window.

    10) Underground Lab

    Coordinates: 28 E and 1207 S
    Biome: Desert

Hidden beneath a regular house lies a secret underground lab. By digging at the provided coordinates, you’ll reveal a ladder that leads to a lab filled with medical loot and lab equipment.

Zombies lurk behind a bulletproof glass window, so tread quietly. Inside, you’ll find medical beds, pill cases, Shamway crates, and reinforced chests. It’s a great place to stock up on healing supplies with minimal effort if you know where to dig.
